Author has written 2 stories for Chuck.
Wow, it’s been a really weird day. My name is BillAtWork, at least I thought so. I’m a 50 year old Technology Architect with a wife and two kids. But this morning, I woke up in the body of a twenty-something recent college graduate. People keep calling me BrickRoad16. And that’s not even the weird part. I suddenly have this overwhelming need to use correct grammar. By some magic process, I now understand terms like Deus Ex Machina and schadenfreude. And I hate camping. So why do I now have the urge to go live in a tent and save the world? And the scariest part, now I look at Bryce Larkin and can’t keep the thought out of my head, “Man, he’s kinda cute.”
This is clearly just a strange dream.
The one thing that hasn’t changed is my love for the television show Chuck, in particular, the love story of Chuck and Sarah. Maybe I should write a story about that. Yeah, maybe if I wrote a story that was the best parts of both of my new personas, I could get my old life back. Naturally, I’d have to follow all of my old rules – Only happy endings, a vow to never leave the story hanging, and timely updates. But somehow, it has to be softer, more descriptive, and better written than the stuff I’ve done before.
Yeah, that might just work. Well, I’d better hurry. I can already see them pitching that tent in my mind.
