Author has written 34 stories for Emergency, and Supernatural.
My story Into The Wild has been nominated for 2 categories in the Fanatic Fanfic Awards.
Favorite Action Fanfic
The awards are mostly Sci/Fi/Fantasy so if you liked my story and wanna share the E! fandom love feel free to vote for it. I was honored to get to stage one.
My 2 cents worth on all the negative happening on FF.net. I've been here for 8 years, writing about what I love and meeting amazing people along the way. So many good folks and great stories.
And let's review what Fan Fiction actually is:
Is it professional writing? No, or we'd get paid for all this blood, sweat and tears.
Is it error free? No, see above.
Is it freedom of thought: 100% yes.
Is it required to please everyone who reads it?: Absolutely not.
Is it required to be canon: Again, absolutely not.
Can you leave a snarky, wise cracking, useless review?: Sure, but you quickly become the joke of the site and we all know who you are.
Do you have to help new writers? No, but it helps to improve and strengthen our fandom. Build up, not tear down.
A TROLL is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic reviews with the deliberate intent of disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
How to deal with a TROLL?
Ignore them: You know the saying...DON'T FEED THE TROLLS
Block them: Go to accoutn, then block users, enter their user name or ID number. Bam. Done.
We write with our imaginations, our dreams, our insane creativity that sometimes makes sense and sometimes doesn't work out the greatest. This is stuff by fans, not professionals, written about a show that hasn't existed new for nearly 40 years, yet we keep it alive with our love and passion. We try and support each other, make friends, connect with fellow fans, learn new things along the way and imagine a world that still fascinates us.
I encourage writers to ignore the haters, keep writing what you love, keep trying to improve, and listen to those trying to help. It doesn't take intelligence to destroy, but courage to help make things better.
