A few months after the Battle of Xandar and defeat of Ronan, the Guardians are settling down in their new lives and learning to live with each other. An easy cargo run in the Milano takes a bad turn, leaving Rocket and Gamora to face the ghosts of their pasts in order to survive. Peter and Drax try to keep the team alive and together. Music isn't a 'done' thing in space, Peter realises early on into his new life as a super bad-ass alien space pirate. That doesn't stop music from making him Starlord. And true, his adolesence was seriously screwed up - but that doesn't mean that Yondu didn't help him become Starlord either. It starts with bright light and a hooking swooping in his gut and well,it hasn't ended yet.

When a mixtape breaks, who else can fix it other than our favorite not-raccoon? Set after Ronan was killed and Groot is back to his full size.

Rocket just wants to fix the ship's navigation system. Is that too much to ask? Maybe he just needs a break, and Groot is there to help! (Cute short fluffy friendship story because I am trash)

The story of a raccoon, and of how he became Rocket.

Shipwrecked on a nearly inhospitable planet, Peter and the gang rely on each other and their shared expertise to survive and escape one of the worst space rocks in the galaxy.

"I guess I'm still human enough to be taken down by something as mundane as a blow to the head after all." Peter takes a rather nasty blow to the head during a fight and the others are left to deal with a very concussed and loopy Starlord afterward. Lots of Peter!whump and concerned!Guardians inside!

"This is where you lose me, Quill, with the tree," Rocket says, gesturing with his drink emphatically enough to spill most of what's left of it. Gamora flicks a few stray drops of Rocket's drink off her hand. "The tree was where he lost you?"/Peter tries to convince his fellow guardians to celebrate Christmas.

Nothing says Christmas like trying to keep the two adopted daughters of a psychotic alien death-god from killing each other.

The Guardians stop on a small planet for fuel, and an encounter there forces Rocket to fight his demons, while bringing them all even closer together. Oneshot. (title probably sucks)

Growls and muttered curses hung in the air, while it wasn't out of the ordinary for Rocket to be pissed after a relatively tough fight, today was different. Peter didn't know what happened, but Rocket was beyond livid. Tension hung heavy in the air, but no one really wanted to risk the raccoon's ire at the moment. Peter was pretty sure he was making another death ray of some kind.

Peter's been living a lost childhood long enough.

Saving the galaxy is all well and good, but it doesn't pay the bills. In need of cash, Star-Lord convinces the team to help him in a heist targeting a powerful crime boss, but is there more to his choice of target than he's letting on?

"I don't think you could make one single person in this club laugh," Peter exclaimed. "In fact, I'd like to you see you just try and make one person in this entire room laugh. Someone had the guts to drop a baby at his doorstep and suddenly, Peter is thrown into the fatherhood game. Is he suitable enough to be a dad? Because by Rocket's standards, he isn't...

For being a group of thugs and killers, they're a surprisingly cuddly bunch. AKA: Four times Peter slept with one of his teammates and one time they all slept with him. No slash, no romance, just good old fashioned team bonding and cuteness!

Peter needs to learn how to knock. Rocket needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.

After reacting unusually poorly to one of Peter's "houseguests," another member of the team decides to cheer Gamora up by inviting her out for the evening. This not only confuses Peter, by the night itself turns out to be a bit more than expected... Not necessarily in a good way, either.

En route to Xandar from the other end of the universe, Rocket and Groot just happen to be passing through Chitauri space. It's not uncommon to find bodies (or parts of them) floating about in these areas...but they certainly didn't expect to find somebody alive. Loki, on the other hand, was not expecting to be rescued by a mutant raccoon a talking tree. Still, it could be worse.

After fending off a monster, Rocket finds himself in a literal mess. Enlisting Peter's help, he does everything he can to make things uncomfortable for the Star-Lord for his own amusement.

"It probably won't kill me." In the pause that follows this proclamation, and in the interest of open communication between friends, she adds, "Right away." [Post-movie.]

Build a house, call it home.

"I can fix this, Quill; just you watch. I can fix this. We'll be out of here in no time." Rocket rambles because he's afraid if he doesn't, he'll suddenly realize how totally and utterly screwed they are. No slash, just bromance with tons of Quill!whump! :D

Peter finally works up the nerve to ask Gamora on a date. Between obscenely fancy restaurants, meddling friends and terrorist attacks, it goes about as well at they expected.

Quill used to have nightmares, but by the time the Guardians of the Galaxy came to be, he thought he was done chasing them away. But Rocket has them, and Quill starts to wonder if nightmares ever really do go away. Friendship one-shot.

Gamora likes to start her mornings early. So does Drax. And Peter's ship only has one bathroom.

Quill knows that he doesn't have to be afraid of storms, meteorological or not. But Rocket? Not so much. Friendship one-shot.

SPOILERS. After defeat of Ronan, Rocket is taking care of Groot. He's worried that his long-time companion and best friend will never come back to him.
