Author has written 7 stories for Twilight.
I wrote fan fiction from the fall of 2008 until the fall of 2009, when I finished my two book-length fics, The List and While You Were Gone. Since then, I've turned my attention to publishing original fiction in paranormal and contemporary romance under the pen name Laura Kaye. I am the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of a dozen books (as of spring 2013). None of my published works are based on fan fiction stories. My books to date include:
FOREVER FREED, paranormal romance, The Wild Rose Press, 2011
HEARTS IN DARKNESS, contemporary romance, The Wild Rose Press, 2011
JUST GOTTA SAY, contemporary erotic romance, Decadent Publishing, 2011
NORTH OF NEED (Book 1 in the Hearts of the Anemoi Series), contemporary fantasy romance, Entangled Publishing, 2011
IN THE SERVICE OF THE KING (Book 1 in the Vampire Warrior Kings Series), dark paranormal romance, Harlequin Nocturne, 2012
HER FORBIDDEN HERO (Book 1 in the Heroes Series), contemporary romance, Entangled Publishing, 2012
SEDUCED BY THE VAMPIRE KING (Book 2 in the Vampire Warrior Kings Series), dark paranormal romance, Harlequin Nocturne, 2012
WEST OF WANT (Book 2 in the Hearts of the Anemoi Series), contemporary fantasy romance, Entangled Publishing, 2012
ONE NIGHT WITH A HERO (Book 2 in the Heroes Series), contemporary romance, Entangled Publishing, 2012
SOUTH OF SURRENDER (Book 3 in the Hearts of the Anemoi Series), contemporary fantasy romance, Entangled Publishing, coming 5/28/13
TAKEN BY THE VAMPIRE KING (Book 3 in the Vampire Warrior Kings Series), dark paranormal romance, Harlequin Nocturne, 8/1/13
HEROES #3 (Book 3 in the Heroes Series), contemporary romance, Entangled Publishing, 10/28/13
HARD AS IT GETS (Book 1 in the Hard Ink Series), contemporary romance, Avon/HarperCollins, 11/26/13

STORY TRANSLATION POLICY
I receive a lot of requests to translate my stories into other languages (recently: Spanish, Hungarian, Polish, Finnish, and Russian). Though I appreciate international readers' interests in my story, I am not currently approving translation requests.
The current French translate is on hiatus indefinitely (because the translator stopped translating...I did not prevent her from continuing).
I apologize for the inconvenience this causes my readers whose first language is not English.
Thank you for understanding.
BACK TO YOU--I want to thank the readers and reviewers of the three chapters of my story Back to You for all the support and encouragement I received. As you might recall from my first author note, I explained that Back to You was actually an original story I was writing for publication that I decided to post as fan fiction too to get reader feedback. This was a mistake. I should have kept the two worlds separate. I've just so enjoyed interacting with Twific fans on my other stories that I was eager to jump back in with something new. But I found it difficult to write two versions of this at the same time, to keep the different characteristics of each straight, and don't want to jeopardize the publish-ability of the story since I've received multiple requests from editors and agents for it in the past 5 months. Once I realized my error in judgment, I listed the story as being on hiatus and stopped posting chapters. This is also why I've pulled these chapters from ff.net and twilighted altogether. So, I apologize for my experiment-gone-wrong. Lesson learned.
