Let's see...I'm a 34 year old married mother of three. I've only recently became hooked on fanfic in the last five months or so. I've been kicking around some ideas to write my own, but haven't had the guts to do so yet.
I live in the land of cherry blossoms, lilacs, lakes and cider mills. I work full-time for a publishing company and I'm also going to school full-time to become a nurse. I've finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up.
~a good laugh can heal any hurt. Laugh often and wholeheartedly.
~anyone that comes into my life has a meaningful purpose
~love is one of the greatest gifts and it should always be given without a receipt
~never take anything for granted. Nothing is a given and much is taken way too soon.
~if positive vibes are put out, they'll come back tenfold
~likewise, karma is truly a bitch and she always collects
~the only person that can change your life is you
Things I love:
My children, my husband, my family (they are the absolute best), my dog, peanut butter cups, cherry nut cake, reading, laughing, swimming, music, my iPod, dancing, the sunshine, warm weather, the ocean, thunderstorms, my dvr, photography, and watching life through my children's eyes.
East of Eden, In Cold Blood, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables and anything by Nora Roberts. Yeah, the Twilight series is my personal crack. I've tried to deny it, but admitting that you have a problem is the first step to recovery, right? Although, I don't think that I want to recover quite yet. I'm sure that I'm forgetting many fabulous reads, but they just aren't coming to mind at this moment.
Topper, The Thin Man, Gone with the Wind, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Grease, Braveheart, Pretty in Pink, Arthur, Sixteen Candles, Stand By Me, 10 Things I Hate About You, Goonies, Bridget Jones Diary, National Lampoons Family Vacation and Christmas Vacation (my family really encompasses everthing that is Griswold)...oh, and anything with Cary Grant.
So, I haven't revealed anything earth shattering, but I figure that it's better than having a blank page.
