Author has written 30 stories for General Hospital, All My Children, Pan Am, and Zombieland.
There is nothing sadder than an outdated profile. Yet, the main reason mine has been so neglected is quite simple, I haven't been very inspired to write. Somehow the words which used to flow so easily have slowed to a painful trickle. Part of the reason for the change is that the main inspiration for my writing, the relationship between Jason Morgan and Damian Spinelli, is now officially defunct on the source show, General Hospital. Even though many of my stories diverged from the plots on GH, while several of them were out and out AU in origin, I apparently still needed to see the two characters interacting and going about their lives in Port Charles as a wellspring of both ideas and the motivation to write. I also had other external concerns such as attending school and dealing with day to day events which left me rather drained when I sat down in from of my computer screen. The upshot of these, and other factors, is that I have been struggling with rather severe writer's block for several years now.
It's discouraging and frustrating to say the least. Not only do I enjoy writing and posting fan fiction, I am also interested in writing original stories and poetry. Anyway, for some inexplicable reason. I now seem to be able to sit down and write. Even more importantly, I have an extremely strong urge to write, to feel the keys depressing beneath my fingertips and the words scrolling across the screen. I've entered Camp Nano in April and set myself a modest writing goal that I hope to attain. Anything I write in the realm of fan fiction will be showing up here, of course, as well as my other posting sites around the web. I want to write new stories, finish others that are languishing in my files and continue still others. Fingers crossed that I can achieve those goals and I hope that those of you, who have always supported me, will be around to read them when they're posted.
