Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter, Kuroshitsuji, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Ouran High School Host Club.
To those readers who were following my stories, I apologize. I no longer have the time or inclination to write anymore. I work the zombie shift and rarely have a day off. Besides, my heart just isn't in it anymore. I am very sorry that I will be leaving many of you hanging with my fictions. I will leave the finished works up, but am taking down the works in progress. Again, I'm sorry.
I have recently been made aware that fanfiction.net is deleting stories that they believe are too graphic. I've noticed that some of my favorites are disappearing. To that end, I will keep an eye on my stories. When they start disappearing, I will post them elsewhere and let you know where to find them.
The publishing glitch with my account has been fixed. I will be replacing my stories here, and adding new ones as I get them. Unfortunately, at this moment, I'm not using my own computer, so my files are inaccessible to me. When I get my computer back, I will put the stories back. I've missed posting here, and the fans I've gathered here.
My computer should be back in my hands by the end of this week, and the stories will be making their return to the site, with many changes to most of them. I've decided to go over them as I post them, and fix the problems I've seen with them.
Ok, for those intellectually challenged individuals that didn't read the above updates, let me clarify. The stories that are reappearing on my page are written by me. I took them down in January because of a glitch on the site that wouldn't let me post anymore. The glitch has since been fixed, and I am re-posting my stories. Please don't send me reviews accusing me of plagiarism. It's not. It's me, putting my stories back up.
I would like to thank all of the people who have enjoyed my stories. I rarely answer individual reviews, as I have very little time, and wish to dedicate it to the actual stories. All of you, be you friend or enemy, have made my life a little more interesting. To those who have flamed me unmercifully, and you know who you are, just remember that this is all fan fiction which, by definition, has no set rules. If I were to follow canon to the letter, then I would just re-write the entire series of Harry Potter, and do a better job of it. So, excuse me if I choose to switch up a thing or two, or make Harry a 'douche'. Personally, I would've thought he'd be a douche anyway, after everything he'd been put through.
A wonderful fan has done the impossible for me. She has written a beautiful epilogue to my story, Harry's Kuroshitsuji, something I was unable to do as I couldn't find the right...mood for it. The story is here:
She wrote to ask my permission, and I've given it. Hopefully, it makes you squeal as it did me. Give her lots of love, people. She's earned it.
I'm sorry that it's taking me so long to update my stories. Personal circumstances, as well as my muse abandoning me for a bit have made it difficult to concentrate on my stories. However, they will be finished. Just have patience.
First off, I deleted Harrison James Snape, books 1 and 2. I'm sorry, but upon re-reading them I found them to be seriously lacking in any personality. I will go over them again, and try to clean them up. Secondly, I will finish the others. My husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma, and I really need to be concentrating on that for now. Just try and understand, please.
My husband has a particularly vicious form of squamous cell carcinoma that failed to respond to treatment. He is dying. I have outlines for the next updates to my stories, but between taking care of him, working, taking my daughter shopping every week, and the other minutiae of life, I don't have the energy or want to write right now. Forgive me, and please be patient. I will finish the stories. Just not right now.
My husband passed away on September 30. I am still trying to come to grips with the loss of the other half of my soul. Between the funeral, going through his things and finding a smaller, cheaper place to live, my mind hasn't been on my writing. Have patience. I've already started several updates and will post them soon.
Thank you all for your kind words and patience as I deal with things. Some of you made me cry, and I'm grateful for the thoughts and feelings you've expressed. Sorry it took so long for me to respond; I've only now just got my internet back. I will do my best to continue to update as quickly as I'm able. As for A Different Life; sorry for the false update. I'd finished chapter 8 in the document manager and posted it, but didn't finish it in my word program. When I posted it as a new chapter, I'd added the beginnings of chapter 9 to the end of chapter 8 in my word document, not realizing that most of that chapter had already been posted with a different ending. When I realized my mistake, I immediately took it down and fixed the issue. I will post an actual new chapter as soon as I've finished it.
I'm slowly getting my life back together. I'm finding it very hard to get used to living without my other half, but I'm managing. The people here have been very supportive, and for that I'm grateful. I'm working slowly on my stories, and am posting updates as quickly as I can, between work and grief.
Now, onto another matter: I've been reading other stories that I've found while browsing, and I'm a little disgusted at the lack of care the authors take before posting them. It's not so much the spelling or grammar, although they are irritating; it's the dropped words in the middle of sentences. Some stories have so many dropped words in a paragraph that the whole thing is insensible. Please, for the love of god, go over your chapters carefully in the document manager before you post them. Do us this favor, so that we may enjoy your stories more fully.
I've made a little change to the dynamics of A Different Life. I was never much of a fan of Winry, so I've eliminated her from the story. Instead, I think Ed would be fabulous paired with the Weasley Twins. That relationship will be explored in the epilogue to the story. Heheheheheeee.
While I really enjoy the reviews, and appreciate them, though I don't respond personally, I take a great deal of offense to someone, in a review, telling me how to write my story. I love random ideas that my readers give me, and I sometimes incorporate them. However, when someone tells me I need to rewrite my story to fit their concept of how 'the real story would go', that irritates me. Once again, this is FANFICTION, whereby those of us with the inclination will write stories based around our favorite books, movies, tv shows, etc. These stories will go the way they will go. As authors, we really can't control to any great extent what direction a story chooses to take us. We just follow the muse, and hope like hell she knows what she's doing. For some random reviewer, and not even a member, to tell me that I'm doing it wrong...well. Just remember, we write these stories for our own pleasure. It's a hobby. A way to vent our creative juices, if you will. That we have loyal fans who love our work is a happy bonus. Those who choose to tell us how to write our stories, remember, you don't shit where you eat. Keep up that kind of attitude, and you'll find that many of us will just remove our stories and vanish. If you don't like the way we write a story, WRITE ONE YOURSELF.
I haven't really taken down some of my stories. I just consolidated them in one story file, since I happen to like doing this particular story form, and I find a lot of inspiration every day. It will remain incomplete as long as I have music to listen to.
I have removed my songfics. I will no longer be posting any new ones. I keep getting a reviewer who points out that songfics are not permitted on this site. I understand the caution; however, I am a little irritated that it seems that only my stories are being singled out, while others are using songs in their stories rather freely. But, perhaps it's because I choose to use more popular songs, like Pony, and that offends some. Be that as it may, I won't be putting them back up, as I don't want to risk having my account deleted because someone bitched to the powers that be.
I don't respond to reviews personally for the most part. However, this needs to be said. Thank you all so much for the praise and encouraging words. You have no idea how much it means to me that my stories are appreciated. Especially since my husband passed away. It's good to know that, even though we are relative strangers, we have something in common that we like to share. So, thank you all for the love you send me in the form of the reviews. As well, don't be shy with ideas; who knows, I may just use one, and I will give credit where credit is due. I also appreciate when you guys catch a mistake and let me know about it. It helps me keep the timelines straight, since I'm juggling quite a few stories on this end.
Again, I love and appreciate all my reviewers. Please, for those of you who do not have an account, do not ask me to write 'request' fics. I can't do that. I don't operate that way. I have a great deal of respect for those authors who are able to take a reviewer's idea and turn it into a wonderful story. I can't do that. I don't have the patience to do the research necessary to find out enough about whatever fandom the reviewer is passionate about. It irritates me to no end to get a 'review' from a guest, asking me to write a story based on a fandom I've never heard of. For all they know, I may actually hate whatever it is they're into. The 'review' doesn't even address the story they'd logged into. If you're going to go that route, create an account and send me a PM. Don't put it in the 'review' section. That's just rude.
For those of you who are reading What Now?, here are the websites that I found for the daggers and knives presents. The site won't let me put them at the bottom of the pages, so I'll put them here: lrdg.hegewich.net/knives.html for the BC-41, and www.midievalcollectibles.com for the other daggers and knives. Just look them up by name. On another note, would everyone please quit jumping on me about how 'fast' Corvus is moving into a 'relationship' with Theo and Draco? They're not fucking, for gods sake. They're doing the whole, eleven year old 'will you be my boyfriend' thing, only a little stronger. Christ, when I was in grade school, at ten and eleven, little boys would ask me if I wanted to be their girlfriend. Usually it was only to make another girl jealous, but it happened. It is not out of the realm of possibility for children to play 'grown up' when they feel strongly for each other. As long as it's the cutesy kind of 'grown up' then you all should just GET THE HELL OFF MY BACK! It's going to be years before they even approach anything like a more intimate relationship.
