Hard at work or hardly working; peculiarly enough, it's usually both.
Right now, it's pretty much a choice between updating on time and graduating on time, and there isn't really a choice when it comes to that, because I've spent five years getting to this point, so stumbling on the finnish line isn't something I'm particularly keen on.
Either way, as a fair number of my longtime readers should already be aware, feedback motivates me. I'm always interested in what others have to say about the stuff that I write, even if it's just a short comment. Frankly, it gives a sense of audience, and if I'm not reminded of the fact that I have one often enough, then I'll just forget about it and move on with other things. This is not an invitation to continuously harrass me for updates though, because if I let you know the first time that I have a lot of things going on, then continuing to message me about this is less motivating and more annoying, because then I'm already aware and then I've also made you aware of the situation (i.e. that I'm busy elsewhere).
May 1st 2015: The day I received my first (anonymous) review expressing hopes that I'd go kill myself. No can do. But seriously, telling people to kill themselves or threatening to kill people, over the Internet or otherwise, is kind of nasty. Actually, acting like a bigot in general is kind of nasty. My own reaction may be to slap my forehead in exasperation (repeatedly), substracting yet some more points from my faith in humanity, but some people can really take it to heart.
May 7th 2015: On an extremely positive note, I have made a great progress on my GRP. So, unless my supervisor forces me to redo a great deal of it, I'm going to spend the upcoming weekend (and possibly even the week following that) on catching up on some of the things I've been neglecting as of late, my fanfiction included. It really depends on my supervisor and what she thinks of my work, but this weekend will definitely be completely GRP-free. :)
May 12th - May 13th: Working on various updates.
May 14th and onward: Working on GRP, continuing work on updates when/if daily goals have been met.
May 25th: Working on GRP. The ventilation system has been down for at least 24 hours. I need oxygen...
