Author has written 4 stories for Teen Titans.
Welcome to the Crazy. Embrace it.
Update 1/17/12: Hey, guys! Sorry I disappeared like that. But I'm doing better now and hope to update way more often. Talk to you soon! _
Name: I would love to tell you my name - that's how all good friendships start - but I said I was crazy, not stupid. For now, it's Nunya to you. ;)
Age: Twenty, and not nearly mature enough to be considered an adult.
Weapons of Choice: Love... or sarcasm. It depends on my mood. Pencils work pretty well too, though. ("Quit kicking my chair or I will stab you in the throat with this." Effective, no?)
I am: Christian (Seventh Day Adventist), insane, a procrastinator, a dreamer, a hugger, a listener, a bit scary when it comes to chocolate, pescetarian, and a big sister.
Random facts: My favorite color is green; my favorite superhero is Batman; I never leave home without my iPod; my church family is family; I love junk food, but I'll eat my veggies too; I want to be an author; I'm a nerd, but I'm bad at it; I'm a darn good geek (cartoons, video games, comics, manga, anime - you name it); and I read... a lot.
What I've been up to Lately (4/6/11)
Books I enjoyed recently: The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa and Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
The last movie I saw in theaters: Beastly
The last three songs I listened to: "When I get Home, You're so Dead" by Mayday Parade, "Wake me up Before you Go-Go" by Wham!, and "Rocketeer" by Far East Movement ft. Ryan Tedder.
The last Bible verse I read: 1 Timothy 4:12 "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity."
How it all Began...
Around November of 2006, I was suffering from withdrawals. My addiction to the cartoon Teen Titans festered and burned, but I had run out of source material. I needed more - there had to be more - and so I went to Google. Typing "Nightwing and Starfire" into the search bar, I hoped I could find not just my favorite group of teens, but a bit of romance as well. I was not disappointed. "Never Leave" by Mary Grayson's Little Robin was the first fanfic I ever read, and it opened the door to a whole new world for me - a world where I wasn't the only freak craving characters lost in a final episode. I found acceptance. And a fix.
However, it wasn't until 2008 that I created a profile. You see, I ship a couple that doesn't get much attention in X-Men comic books: Hellion/X-23. The good news is that I already knew where to turn; the bad news is that it wasn't so popular here either. Until onelildustbunni. But she wasn't just someone that wrote Helix fanfiction - she was someone that wrote it well. Everyone was in character, the writing was superb, and the stories were astonishing. Still, with something that good, there's always the fear that it'll disappear. So, the first review I ever wrote was a plea that she not go anywhere. She hasn't... and neither have I. :)
Oh, dear. As I look back on my first story, I try not to cringe. After all, this is a journey. I started writing with the intention to improve and, by George, I think I have - and still am. I don't have the heart to delete my earlier pieces of crap, but I have every intention of going back to them. Dusting them off. Giving them a new coat of paint. It'll be fun, if not a little embarrassing. (I wrote that? Really?)
Expect romance from me (I can't help it!), but not lemons, swearing, or fast updates. (Yeah, yeah. I know.)
Updating quickly has never been my forte, but know this: NONE of my stories will be left incomplete. Especially when I have such wonderful reviewers. (Love you guys!)
The friends I've made on this site are irreplaceable. If you and I aren't friends already, feel free to PM me or email me at.
