Hello, all! Starting afresh. I'm thinking of deleting all my old stories (which are awful, as they were written by 11 year old me.) and just beginning again. Thoughts? And becasue I feel like it should be, some updated information:
I'm Ellie, I'm 16, and I'm not a writer. I write sometimes, but it's a pastime, not a passion. It's just a fun way to vent and let my overactive imagination go wild. I like grammatically correct stories. If there's a spelling/punctuation error in your title/summary, I probably will not read. Of course, I'm not exempt from this, and you should feel free to yell at me for any errors I make. Nicely. :)
I like books; Mainly fantacy fiction, but I'm versitile. I like Harry Potter(With a particular flair for Marauders' era stuff), City of Bones, Maximum Ride, Percy Jackson, and Sisters Grimm was basically my entire childhood. I still love them. I like a lot of other stuff, but that's all I feel like mentioning.
My aunt is an author, and she has 3 books out now. I'm going to advertise her shamelessly on here, because her books are awesome and I'm SUPER proud of her. The Body Finder, Desires of the Dead, and The Pledge, all by Kimberly Derting. CHECK 'EM OUT.
I usually write Harry Potter stuff and then never post it because it's weird and I'm a SHAMELESS self-inserter, but I might be able to put out something good every now and again. I currently have about 40 pages of an original(And I use the word loosely) story based on the not real adventures of me and my real friends. It's a lot cooler than I make it sound; I'm awful at summarizing. I have the forst couple of pages posted on Fictionpress, and they're really bad, so I'll have to go in and edit them sometime, but I'm kind of on a break from that story right now. Like I said, writing is a pastime for me, and I haven't had too much time on my hands lately.
I just started high school last September, and it was my first time entering a school that wasn't my house. I suppose you could say I'm the typical homeschooled, Christian, conservative, Republican kid, but PLEASE, for the love of all that is good in the world, do not write me off as a close-minded bigot who thinks gay people all deserve to burn in Hell. You want to know what I believe, just ask. I am who I am, and if you're going to go around preaching about acceptance, you should have the brains to accept what I believe. Kthanks
High school is fun and not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I'm in choir and drama, and I LOVE it. Singing's where my heart is. I'm in the symphonic choir, and my church choir, and I love them both. :)
I have a rebelious streak so wide it really isn't a streak as it is the whole line. I just don't like being told what to do. I like to stand out, and I'll admit it, I like attention. I'm a Soprano, what do you expect? I'm competitive and driven, but also spazzy and silly and extraordinarily immature.
...And that's all for now!
