Author has written 11 stories for Harry Potter.
I'm a nearly 30 mom of three kids. Watching TV in our house is a no win situation. Either you drown in the sugary goodness of shows they can watch or you risk scarring the kids for life with the blood, guts and gore on NCIS. So, fan fiction is my refuge to balance out the Disney and Dora that I can quote ver batum.
I mostly read and write Harry Potter. Ship-wise, I called Harry/Ginny the first time I saw the first movie during the King's Cross scene. Reading the books only made me more convinced. If I write a story with any sort of romance, it will be Harry/Ginny. Reading-wise, they are always my preferred couple, but it's nice to mix it up sometimes, especially with well written or unique stories.
Information about Completed Stories
The Slimiest, Wettest Chance is a one-shot. It is complete. The Shower Scene is also a one-shot and is complete. While they are sort of a packaged deal, the reasons that they are one-shots and not a chaptered story are 1. I really didn't know if I'd end up writing a sequel to The Slimiest, Wettest Chance and currently have no plans (meaning no ideas/directions) to continue this series. 2. Both stories can be read alone.
The Worst Luck is complete and all chapters have been posted. There is a lot of backstory to this fic, so it is possible that I will revisit this "universe" again one day, but I have no plans at this time.
It's in Their Touch is the SIYE Seven Words Challenge fic. It is posted and complete. I don't see a sequel in the future for this fic, but I'll never say "never." It's just unlikely.
The Lady is an in-progress fic that was written for a challenge on SIYE. It is "completed" there, but I felt the last chapter was rushed. I am working on expanding the end of the fic, but it is slow going. In my mind it is complete, so it has been difficult convincing my muse to flesh it out.
Damsel is a little bit of fluff that came about because I made the mistake of listening to Bryan Adams one night. It is neither ambitious nor very imaginative and it isn't meant to be. It is simply a teenage girl daydreaming about her knight in shining armour. Think of it as Ginny's version of fanfiction.
A Challenging Year is the gift fic that was posted on the Puffy Submariner LJ site. It is complete.
Have You Ever Swum with the Nargles by the Pale Moonlight (Summerfest) and With Friends Like These (Winterfest) were my entries for hp_seasonfest on LJ. They are complete and stand alone. If you get a chance, check out the other entries. If you are interested in joining a HG fic exchange, I highly recommend this one. Autumnfest is coming up!
