Summary for the one-shot of the poll
It's 1944. WWII. The Nazis invaded Poland in 1940. The Mason family lives in Poland, and they are normal Christian Polish Citizens, but (in 1944) they are caught hiding a Jewish family in their basement. The Punishment? Concentration camp. Edward is 11 years old and is perfectly healthy. Once they arrive they are separated, his mom on one line, him and his father on the other. His father and him start working. One day Edward is passing by the gate and sees someone running outside of it by the forest line. He stops and watches more closely, suddenly he sees a girl running through the woods towards the gate, so he waits for her. She gives him and apple and the runs back to the woods to hide. This keeps going, same place, same time. They never talk. One day the girl doesn't come, so he waits and waits, but she never came. The next day, American troupes come and liberate the people. Edward starts looking for his parents, but he never finds them. With help he ends up in an orphanage in NYC. He's 12 years old. Shortly after he gets there, the Cullen family adopts him. (the story moves on ... Blah ...Blah ... Blah...) One day when he is 24, Jasper and Emmett set him up on a blind date. There he meets this girl and immediately connects with her. One day when they are at the Park, just walking around after many dates, she tells him her story ... This is based on a true story, we were studying the Holocaust in Language Arts, and my teacher told us this story, there is many differences but the plot is exactly the same.
