"A real writer, whether it be a novel or fan fiction, does not write for the fame, or the reviews. They write simply because it's enjoyable."

'Looking back isn't the road to recovery. Locking people out isn't a worthy substitute. If you find that you cannot go on alone, my hand will always be extended to help you continue. All you have to do, is accept it.' -Me

News: The Tumblr idea was good, but I don't visit it enough to really do much. You can still visit it, though. I'll post things there every so often.
OC's: Any OC I may have created for the sake of a Story (that is relevant.)
Major D. Vice: Expect to see this man appear many times in the future. If there is ever a need where I need to advance the plot further and have no means of doing it: the Major will be on the scene.
Stuff to know:
- I love criticism! I love the fact someone finds something wrong within my story more than I do the 'Great! Keep going!' so please, find a character issue, plot problem, grammatical error, something I messed up.
- Feel free to PM me with any question, whether it be about my fan fics themselves, or something you're writing on your own. I also like to know my readers, too, as well as other authors. Bouncing story ideas around, and critiquing others works is fun. The point of this: PM me for any reason. I'll always reply.
- I'm always open to suggestions, and often times, I'll weave them into my fic (assuming it's not plot changing)
- There's more, I assure you. But I can't think of anything to really put down right now.
Question: I wonder how many people review because they actually like a story, or because they may get mentioned in an authors note...
Answer: I do believe that while A/N can be a review booster, it's only just an ego booster. A true review is one with suggestions and critique, maybe some congratz on a good story. The A/N only gives out short, one handed comments for reviews, nothing of value to the author. A/N's are an effective way to address issues within the story and whatnot. Perhaps putting a few A/N's at the beginning few chapters is a good idea to bring in a few readers to get a decent amount of reviews, and from there, it becomes a snowball effect, producing noteworthy reviews to improve yourself. I tested this theory, and it holds true. More reviews if you add an authors note to a chapter.
Question: I look around the website and see a whole lot of High School fan fics... is this a fad?
Answer: Nope! As an official graduate, high school fics are simply the easiest to write, because most of the writers here go to a high school, or have graduated from high school. The plot is pretty straight forward, mostly laid back, and if you simply can't find the time to finish the story, no ones really hurt because there are thousands set in the same setting. They're tried and true methods of getting people to read your writing, meaning criticism (hopefully) and actual feedback. It gives you some breathing room to improve the more technical aspect of writing, such as grammar, character development, plot twists, and other things. Don't disregard the High School setting as lame or stupid. It's a good way to practice.
Question: How come that everything I think is absolute GARBAGE, you (as the reader) simply love? Case and point, Journal Entries of a NonInfected, and Breaking and Entering. Why? What makes these stories so good that I seem to be missing in its entirety?
