I didn't actually think I'd be looking at this profile entry screen again. There are times when you don't. It's been a long while since I was in the fanfiction market, and even longer since I was in it on this particular site; nevertheless, here I am, so let's begin.
I'm TheVulpineHero1. Occasionally, in the past, I have written things. Those things have, even more occasionally, been good, or at least not bad. It would therefore be understandable if people had high expectations of me.
Those expectations should be discarded.
Because, whether I was good or not in the bygone age, I am now rusty as all hell. Starting again is difficult; unlike when you first begin to write, you don't have the buoyant cushion of novel experiences and enthusiasm to push you along until you reach the point where you don't suck. The tradeoff, supposedly, is that you start at a higher point and it takes less to get you back to old standards. Time will, of course, tell.
Right now, I'm only doing one story. I'd love to indulge in some drabble collections, as I have in the past, but I'm putting that particular ambition on hold for a little while as I gradually acclimate myself to the process of sitting down and actually doing some work, rather than getting distracted and browsing the internet. That story is Pyjamas In Bohemian Red, which I may or may not have begun to publish yet on this site; the concept is to work through some of the fantastic prompts I got during the course of Pyjamas and Ironic Harmonies, in a different fandom and with a different mindset. Once I've made some headway on that, I might return to some old favourites.
Until then, the only thing you should be entirely certain of when it comes to me is uncertainty.
Fandoms I might want to write for in the future:
