I am a person who grew up with people inflicted with cerebral palsy and don't know why people still use the words 'spastic' or 'spazz' as a way of making fun of them.
I am a person with a mental illness who hates others with mental illness being called 'spastic' or 'spazzy' because it is hurtful.
Please think before you use this word again and stop being a hypocrite. I would never refer to anyone of any sexual orenation anything hurtful so why should you feel it is ok for you to do the same to us?
To try to end homophobia exclusively and pay no attention to people who are hurt and bullied and made fun of for something they are born with is not okay. We need to raise awareness for all kinds of unintentional bullying.
