Author has written 13 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, and Alex Cross series.
To any and all who read my work, I apologize for my laxness when it comes to updating. Lately, I have been writing at a tentative, almost block-like pace. The words haven't been flowing too easily and anything that actually comes out onto a Word document usually gets deleted before it has any chance of becoming something of substance. I tend to write better when I'm actively reading heavy writing material, like a good Barbara Kingsolver novel or a book that equates to the complexities of Lionel Shriver's We Need to Talk About Kevin. I think it's my love of words that makes me like this when I write; when I am surrounded by words my own emerge much stronger than they would without the influence of outside fiction. Hey, makes sense to me.
The main reason why I haven't had much time to devote to reading and writing is because of my career. I work as a pharmacy technician with the goal of someday being able to either work for a hospital or insurance company's pharmacy and make a livable wage. I make a relatively good wage at the pharmacy that I've been working at for seven months thanks to tests that raise your hourly amount each time you pass one. So far, I've taken two tests and passed both with ease. These tests assure that I am certified within the company. Once I've worked there for a year, I will train and take another. I'm not astute on the measure of what this specific one accomplishes for my goals, as it was just recently added to the store's repertoire, but my salary will benefit from it! I know there's a state test that will certify me in the state of Ohio. There might be one that's on a national level as well, but since I am being trained on the job and not in a college, both of these tests are probably a couple years down the road...
As you all can so clearly see, much of my free time is dedicated to studying. As a pharmacy technician, I do a ton of math: conversions, measurements, and such. I count and recount again and again. I deal with the sick and have to absorb anything insurance-related like a sponge, hoping to retain it long enough before the policies change. I'm slowly building a good memory for brand and generic conversions... It takes a lot out of me, but the career itself has helped me grow as a person.
So, my writing "rework rate" (a pharmacy inside term, ha!) is terrible. But I think about the plots of my fics on a daily basis. Though there is a flood of math being done inside this brain of mine, there is also a dam of fan fiction waiting for the right opportunity to be poured onto a Word document! My Azula Redemption Trilogy is changing dramatically (in a good way, trust me on this) in my head. My Sokkla100 will probably soon see another addition. My drabble/oneshot series on Raiden has a single update in the forecast that is expected to be at least twenty pages but it wouldn't surprise me if I double that!
My stories are all getting new title pages! Someday, they all will have their own unique images of my own creation. I create them all on Photoshop using layers of gradients and filters, as well as screenshots and photos I have taken blended in! If you really like one specifically or them all in particular, please let me know! I'd love to learn peoples' opinions on more than just my ability to write!

Due to my hectic schedule as a pharmacy tech, none of my popular pieces are all that close to seeing any updates, but the ones I'm most definitely working on are mentioned at the top of my profile, but here are some specifics:
1) The upcoming chapter to 'Beautiful Dawn: Revisited' is going to be a huge game-changer due to the person I'm centering it on! It will be a, shall I say, "sexually unnerving" chapter. What do I mean by that? Wait and see!
2) The revisited version of 'The Meeting of Flames' (the first installment of my Azula Redemption Trilogy) is in the works! I have a feeling that once this and 'Beautiful Dawn: Revisited' are completed, I will drop the "revisited" term and delete the old ones. I know that will sadden some people, but the old ones are terribly written, and deserve death the same way ALL my old stories did. I used to have over forty stories on my profile! I've taken that down to less than fifteen! The original trilogy pieces have got to go!
3) 'Frost and Flames' has an update coming that will be much more mature in its subject line than many of its predecessors. No, nothing sexual. Just content for content's sake. Like the one directly previous, the Sokkla ship will be much more subtle, more in its infant stages.
4) 'Welcome To Parenthood' features small and large stories of Raiden's life. This next one is going to be a monster! It will be over twenty pages and may be split into two parts if I feel the need. Though I have no children myself to garner inspiration from, many of the oneshots are loosely based on real-life parental events: your child getting sick, their first baths and words, what goes on in your head when you are exhausted after a sleepless night as a wailing baby's feeding station... This upcoming update is tied to a babyhood event that has caused controversy over the years, more so now than ever before. I won't leak it yet, though. Sorry, guys!
5) I may or may not let this one come into the light. However, it already has a title page and a summary all worked out for it! All I have to do now is write the damn thing! It's a three-part short story that has been teeming in my head for months that focuses on the highlighted event for Azula's turnaround in my redemption series: her breastfeeding Raiden. Upon nursing him and allowing him to take sustenance from her, the trilogy has her accepting him as her child instead of casting him onto Zuko. What if she nursed him still, but never once spoke up? How would that play for Azula herself, her newborn son, Zuko, and even Chan and the loyalists he's working for? Find out... When I write it... Eventually...
I am a heterosexual woman for a reason, and as such, I will never read about, write about, or ship any homosexual or bisexual (or any other sexualities other than heterosexual) pairing in works of fan fiction. That is my personal opinion and I have a right to hold such an opinion without bias or prejudice from anyone else. If I ever do requests or gift fics, please do not ask me to write fics of said nature; they will be ignored. Alongside being heterosexual, I am a Baptist Born-Again Christian, and by the word of the Lord do I dictate my faith and allegiances. No matter what people say, there are plenty of Bible verses that PROVE that homosexuality is a SIN (Romans 1:24-1:27 is a perfect example of that in the King James Bible). Being a Bible-believing Christian subjects me to plenty of hate by "allies," as the transgender community calls their supporters. It is no reason to avoid reading my work. There are millions upon millions of faiths: Baptist Born-Again Christianity just so happens to be mine. Don't like it, then I don't want to hear about it in some hate rant (because, yes, Christians get more hate rants than most groups nowadays).
I am a grammar and spelling freak by nature. I hate that there are writers on here who post stories without even taking the minimalist of efforts to edit them beforehand. I used to be a beta reader, but because I always ended up taking requests from writers like this that would make me rewrite their stories for them in their entirety and claim my work as their own, I closed my services permanently. I have been asked by terrible writers to simply read a story and post a review of my opinion... just so that person could have a boost in their review count. Yes, I love reviews as much as the next person, but not all of my stories are gushing at the edges with hundreds of reviews. Reviews don't make a story; the quality of the body of work does. If you have to beg someone like a dog just to earn yourself but one measly review, then maybe you really don't deserve one. It is oftentimes the really good writers that see their work ignored in favor of the mainstream, easily-comprehendible garbage that often clutters this site, and that is a major disappointment...
I don't mind reading stories that have sexually explicit material woven into their plotlines. In fact, I've written a lemon or two! So long as the scene is tastefully done and given real purpose beyond perverse fulfilment on the party of both writer and reader, I have no problem with it. And, like I mentioned above, keep it between a man and a woman, and I'll read it (if it is within the fandoms I read and write about, of course)! Along these same lines, I also like stories that push boundaries, like those that contain tastefully written heterosexual incest, graphic imagery of madness and delusion, or even birth and death scenes. Heck, I've even written sequences where a character breastfeeds a child. Like the awesome REO Speedwagon song says, "Keep Pushin'"!
One of the most notable things about me is my love for music outside of my generation. I was born in 1992, yet my favorite artist (Karen Carpenter) died almost nine years before I was born (eight years and three hundred and sixty-one days before I was born, in fact)! That being said, when you see song lyrics in my stories, expect the vast majority of them to be old, with maybe a 1990's lyric or two sprinkled in. Auto tune is the ruination of musical uniqueness, and all modern artists sound the same, so I therefore have zero respect for any of them. I often find stories that contain modern lyrics huge turnoffs when I'm reading. Mainly it is because of the undisputable fact that most modern songs have already been shaped into fan fictions at some point or another, and, just like the new artists themselves, you lose necessary uniqueness in utilizing them.
All used quotes/characters from Avatar are copyrighted to Nickelodeon and are only used for the sake of entertainment. I do not benefit from utilizing them. Please do not use my profile pic or any of my stories' title pages. They were all created by myself and I do not wish to share them. I take art theft very seriously, so don't steal my stuff. I will do something unspeakably horrible to you, and I don't mean that as a euphemism! I will get you in some serious trouble if you take something of mine without my permission!
If you have any questions about my work, please message me by PM. I do not bite (unless you steal something, of course)!
