Hello and welcome all.

You have, it seems, stumbled your way onto my profile, either finding your way here from one of the few twisted tales hovering below the 'stories' tab or just getting completely lost. If the former, I hoped you enjoyed them, and please consider leaving a review if you haven't already - if you have you are a wonderful human being and I hope you have an equally wonderful day. If the latter, it's perfectly alright, all of us do it, just ask Thorin Oakenshield. He is considered quite an expert on the subject, though he will always maintain that Gandalf was to blame.

Regardless of the cause, as you are here now, I will offer a little information in return. Sadly, despite what my profile picture claims, I am not the black silhouette of a mysterious dragon. Just a boring human, I am the third eldest in a family of six kids who were all homeschooled by our devoted and fantastic mother, without whom I would never have had the courage to pursue my writing as I have. I live with my family on a small patch of land in little old New Zealand, otherwise known as Aotearoa: the land of the long white cloud, otherwise known as Middle Earth, and spend my days riding, reading, baking, singing, playing the keyboard (badly), writing, and, when time permits, working fulltime as a contact centre representative.

Whoops. I think I might have got that back the front. Oh well.

As to my interests in fiction and fact, those vary greatly. Fantasy is without a doubt my favourite sandbox, but it is characters that hold the power to draw me in, and I will watch/read just about any genre if the characters seize my interest. I will also blatantly criticize the way the writers handle their characters if I feel they are being mistreated, and abandon a show in a huff if it goes on too long. Abandon, of course, usually translates to 'no, you're wrong, I'm going to write an AU fanfic', the result of which is, I assume, the reason you are here.

If so, I hope you enjoyed my stories, and feel free to drop into my PM box any time for a chat about that or anything else that seizes your fancy. I'm not that dragon, I don't bite, and I'm always game for a bit of social life that doesn't involve leaving the comfort of the house.
