I went through a long phase of not writing at all for a year or so; I believe I was writing all the love stories I write because I was in an unhappy relationship and they were my way of projecting what I wished I had, so when I finally plucked up the courage to walk away from that relationship and found someone who actually made me happy, I felt no need to write. However, as I began to play Final Fantasy IV again I felt the urge to revisit my unfinished works, and now I'm writing away again.
What I'm working on right now
I am getting back to work on my Final Fantasy IV longfic, "Something Hidden, Something Wonderful." I'm immensely proud of it and am trying my hardest to keep to the story. At least 20 chapters are up now!
I have pretty much completed my Cecil x Kain longfic, "Given Time." I just have to tweak the ending slightly and then I'll be satisfied with it. This story has a darker side to it; please stay away if you don't fancy seeing Cecil in a complete mess, including alcohol and self-harm. It's emotional, there's much crying and character death, but everything is right in the end. Told in POV from Cecil, Kain and occasionally Ceodore.
I've worked with Jimmy Hudson 1207, Alfendy Layton and to a certain extent, Frozen Aura, and hoping to work with many more. You'll have to check my beta-reader profile to know more!
