Hello to anyone reading this page. After watching the first season of True Blood I quickly found myself reading the Sookie Stackhouse Novels (plus the short stories that take place in the Sookieverse). One morning I created the general outline for some Bon Temp drama… all sparked by my friend's upcoming wedding in Spain. This grew into a story on the TrueBlood page (Dead Ahead). It is posted here for your reading pleasure.

This is my first fan fiction and I find it thrilling to receive reviews and private messages. Most private messages are either asking (1) if I am team-Bill or team-Eric, (2) who Sookie ends up with in Dead Ahead, or (3) about my character Mark. I will address the first question here (for answers to the other questions PM me, I do not want to spoil the story for all who read this).

So, am I Team-Bill or Team-Eric?…Answer: In short, both (or perhaps neither). I classify myself as Team-Sookie.

Charlaine Harris once said "Sookie will never find uncomplicated love, but she will find true love." To be honest, that’s all I want, to see her find true love. Be it Sam, Bill, Eric, Alcide, or Quinn.

Eric: Ms. Harris has admitted that “Eric is still all about Eric, but he is preoccupied with Sookie.” I want Sookie to be more than a "preoccupation". At best Sookie could be number two in Eric’s universe. Sookie says she wants to be number one. I am huge fan of the gracious plenty Viking (who wouldn’t be?), but an even bigger fan of Sookie.

Bill: Need I explain? Drama, drama, drama… But, again to quote Ms. Harris, “I think he's made a lot of mistakes in his relationship with Sookie, and I think he would give anything to turn back the clock and do things differently.”

Sam: Sam can (1) make Sookie breakfast, (2) be in the sun, (3) give Sookie children, (4) give her a life free of Supe politics, and (4) love her. The maenad thing was odd, but who knows…

Alcide: Two comments only: (1) Debbie Pelt and (2) Were politics. Perhaps someday their timing will be right.

Quinn: If I hear “babe” one more time I will scream. I never liked Quinn and I'm not exactly certain why. But, if Sookie ends up with him that would make all the above men available for us!
