Author has written 2 stories for Twilight.
My name is Ella, and I'm a grad student somewhere in the Midwest. I've been an active lurker in fandoms since I was a pre-teen, but my fic-writing was primarily kept in hiding because I was thirteen and it sucked. :P Now that I've gained some years of experience, I've decided to try my hand at fic writing again. Waiting for Something Wonderful is my first fic in the Twilight fandom--I'm not an obsessive fan by any means, but I think the stories are fun and I've loved reading the fanfic I've seen so far.
Reviews make me happy, although I will never ever beg you for one--one thing that will turn me off a story is lengthy authors notes involving bribes for reviews. I do love hearing what you think of my work, though, and it does encourage me to continue! Thanks for reading!
You can find me on LiveJournal as ladyella. Feel free to friend me--I'm just starting out fresh with a new journal, so it's a little empty right now.
Also, feel free to come chat in the Waiting thread over on the Twilighted AU/All-Human forum - http://www.twilighted.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=1717 I've got pictures of Alice and Bella's dresses in there, and I'll be posting status updates about future chapters.

WAITING FOR SOMETHING WONDERFUL FAQ (SPOILERS AHEAD!)
+Will we ever get an Edward POV? Nope. Like Twilight, this story is entirely colored by Bella's perception of the world around her. I have no problems writing EPOV, but it just wouldn't fit in this story. Sorry!
+What was Alice's Halloween costume? - She was a flapper. I couldn't find a way to work in her costume without making it superfluous, so its never mentioned in the chapter.
+How would Edward know Bella's email address? A lot of places have a pretty simple formula for workplace email names--usually first initial.last name, or initials, or something like that. Since St. Martin's is a small school (About 250 students, roughly 60-65 in each year) there aren't a lot of faculty and thus the email naming system is simple enough for Edward to have been able to guess what Bella's email address would be.
+Is St. Martin's based on a real place?Nope! I pulled it together from my own experiances both working at and attending private schools, as well as a little bit of made-up fantasy to make the school work for where I have it located in Chicago (I can even point out the building I chose for it on Google StreetView!)
