Author has written 36 stories for Doctor Who, Stargate: SG-1, Harry Potter, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, X-Men, Sandman, Torchwood, Quantum Leap, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Sherlock, X-overs, Smallville, and Marvel. Who I am is a 45 year old autistic male, who is an extreme introvert that happens to like reading and writing fanfiction. Of Fandoms and Ships: Whovian, - Even though I started out with Tom Baker, my main interest lies with Tennant/Piper in whatever configuration. I prefer 10/Rose, but some 10.5/Rose is okay too. Potterverse - I enjoy Harmony, Honks, Lunar Harmony, Multiple combinations thereof and even Haphne and Hadma on occasion. Buffyverse - Buffy/Xander, Buffy/Willow, Xander/Willow, Buffy/Xander/Willow, (there's a theme there, eh?) Also Buffy/Faith. My Challenge Forum can be found here: Any Challenges I make will be there. A lot will be from my Bits and Bobs story. robst has this quote up on his bio from one Professor Brian Cox. He thought it applied perfectly to fan fiction. After reading it, I do too. Considering that we almost lost him as a writer over abusive comments, this is even more poignant and relevant. "The problem with today's world is that everyone believes they have The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right I'll add to that by saying "A person's individual rights end where another person's individual rights begin." What would people say if 'That Church' decided to protest Leonard Nimoy, the late great Spock's funeral because he was Jewish, and they had the right to express their opinions? That's wrong, isn't it? Same could be said for 'Joe Reader' who gets up in arms with written abuse over something s/he read that s/he disagrees with. Disagreeing is fine. Saying "I don't like that" is just as fine. Saying "I hope you die in a fire!" just because you don't like your favourite character saying/doing/dieing in someone else's fan's fiction is wrong. They write their story. If one doesn't like said story, they are free to write their own. Here endeth my rant on written abuse. 26.07.2011 Well I wasn't correct on who River Song was in canon, but to tell the truth, I can't stand what became of the character. Moffat had a real goldmine and completely blew it with that plot twist. Prat. My Whovian stories do not involve the Ponds, nor will they. It is my firm belief that River Song is an Alias for Donna Noble's first regeneration. I mean, it was pretty obvious to me once Donna went through the Metacrisis. As she had all of the Doctor's memories, she would Know his name. Bobmin, Becuzitswrong, broomstick flyer, MSgt SilverDollar, celebrities in their own right and in addition to the many celebrities that have taken their final bow. It's damned depressing, and I salute them for their contributions to the world in making it a happier place to be in. I'm sure there are others that my poor memory has forgotten at the moment. Sorry about that. I'm still writing, just rather sporadic about it. I know a lot of folks are waiting on updates or the rewrite. I haven't forgotten and will get to them when I can. I have a bunch of partials that are rattling about waiting for attention. Happy Holidays! |
