Falling Angels (Published - 23.12.08):Max, Fang, Iggy, Gasman, Nudge, Angel and Total are in another sticky situation. This, however, leads to a breakdown in barriers between Max and Fang. I've decided to put this story on hold. I have lost interest in writing it and feel that I would not be doing the story any good so when I know what to write it'll be restarted. ON HOLD INDEFINITELY
Dignity (Published - 5.2.09/Completed - 13.05.09): Hermione and Ron have a fight and Hermione finds comfort in the arms of the Head Boy. Dramione. Suggestion of rape which some may find disturbing. This was intended as a oneshot but due to the amount of subscribers I have made it a two-shot. This particular story is rated M for a reason, do not take it lightly.
That Which is Taught (Published - 14.02.09): Hermione Weasley receives a letter from none other than Draco Malfoy asking for a truce on their children's behalf. 3 years later Scorpius and Rose meet outside the castle accidentally, knowing fourth year can be life changing. This story is my baby. I write it to relax and totally enjoy the feedback I receive (whether it's negative or positive). ABANDONED AND UP FOR ADOPTION.
And What If...? (Published - 13.04.09): Have you ever wondered what J K Rowling missed? Have you ever thought to take the time to figure out why they said what they said, did what they did? In this series of one shots some of your questions are answered. Love, Friendship and the whos and whys? I really enjoy writing these, although no one seems to enjoy reading them. I am open to suggestions of questions you wish to be answered. I will also be putting some things in to help explain some features of That Which is Taught that are left unsaid.
She's Got the Time (Published - 30.12.09): After Sirius’s death, Harry is distraught. The people around him watch as he tries to suffer on his own. Hermione knows that he will try to push those he loves away to ‘protect’ them. She won’t let that happen. She wants Harry to have as normal a life as possible but realises that without Sirius that would never happen. In her summer reading Hermione comes across a spell that could help Harry be happy. She was going to save Sirius. After talking with Dumbledore she travels back in time to warn Sirius of the events that would lead to his death but she goes back as far as the spell will allow. Twenty years in the past. Now she has to fulfil the task bestowed upon Harry in her own time, make sure that events that should take place in 1976-1978 happen, save innocents and try not to reveal her true identity. Fate isn’t as kind as she’d hoped however and she starts to fall for Sirius and his rebellious ways. Can she keep the matters of the heart separate from her mission? My new project. I really hope that great things come of this story. I'm trying to make it so that it isn't so genre cliche and pretictable. I want to put a little originality into the story. Here's the banner for the fic, courtesy of MiZZ_AmAyA. Here is the new banner, courtesy of Equus at The Dark Arts. I now have chapter images for this story too, all thanks to Midnight_Witch on The Dark Arts. Prologue: Part I, Prologue: Part II, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 5.
And What If There Was More to Their Story? (Published - 11.1.10/Completed - 25.02.10): A series of oneshots exploring unanswered questions in JK Rowling's books concerning Hermione and Draco. Three in the series. My favourite of my works so far. It's so rewarding to have this up and have feedback. The first in the series asks why Hermione defends Draco in the HBP, the second asks if Draco regretted becoming a Death Eater and why he didn't identify the Trio in DH, the third is what would happen to the adults if Rose and Scorpius got too friendly. I've been told that all three have been moving, well written and I even made someone cry. This was what I started writing for. To effect someone with the words I write. Due to this I asked for a banner to be made so here it is, courtesy of the wonderful Wingardium over at The Dark Arts.
Never Crossed Their Lips (Published - 15.5.10/Completed - 15.5.10): They had to leave each other because of who they were. This is their goodbye. OneShot. This is a plot bunny that was running rampant in my head for forever. It's canon and has apparently made people cry. I have a beautiful banner for the story by Draco_Luva over at The Dark Arts.
A Story of A Muggle, Draco Malfoy, and Hope (Published - 29.5.10/Completed - 29.05.10): That was when she saw it. That was when it clicked. Draco Malfoy. The Draco Malfoy. In a Muggle bar? OneShot with three part sequel on the way. A story of what ANY sane person would do if they met Draco Malfoy in their local pub. I have a beautiful banner for the story by SwissMiss over at The Dark Arts.
A Story of a Muggle, Life, and Draco Malfoy (Published - 07.06.10): That holiday started the ball rolling for several life changing events. The first was meeting Draco Malfoy in The Crown and taking him back to my house. The second was having sex with Draco Malfoy. Sequel to A Story of a Muggle, Draco Malfoy and Hope. This is a WIP sequel to ASoaMDMaH about the results and consequences of the night Draco shared with the Muggle. I have a beautiful banner for the story by Orthotetrakaidecahedron over at The Dark Arts.
Her Eyes (Published - 14.08.10/Completed - 14.08.10): In his dying moments, Severus Snape reflects on why he hates 'those three' and all he can think of are her eyes. Her eyes marred by his face. OneShot. This was born of an idea that came to me out of the blue. I was thinking about how difficult it must have been for Snape to see Lily's eyes on Harry when he looked so much like James otherwise. I also realised how similar Hermione and Lily were and thought that it would be interesting to explore this idea. I have a beautiful banner for the story by Ashlynn over at The Dark Arts.
Scarred Ink Sky (Published - 14.11.10/Completed - 14.11.10): In response to Cleopatra's 20 Prompts Challenge on HPFF Forums. He realised the depth of his feelings for her on a night when the inky night sky was scarred by moonlight and clouds. Harry Potter had fallen for Pansy Parkinson. My first challenge response. There is a beautiful banner for the story by princesswithoutathrone over at The Dark Arts.
My Favourite Completed Harry Potter Stories:
Once Upon A Thyme by zensho Draco and Hermione travel back in time and switch stations in life. Both learn tough lessons about family, honour and love. This fiction is the original of the cliche 'they travel in time and discover their love for eachother' and is one of the best of it's category I've read. zensho has an amazing talent for capturing the characters and what they would do in certain situations. Beautifully written with an ending that is guarunteed to make you smile.
Ordinary People by inadaze22 “Let me be clear about something tonight, Granger. You're the only woman I’ve ever wanted...It’s always been you.” Draco steps in the fireplace, drops the floo powder, and disappears in a burst of green flames. This is the only fic I've read twice and I would gladly read it again. It tells a story of two people muddling through together and making things work in difficult circumastances. The characterisation is astounding and you fall in love with all of the characters. It will undoubtedly make you laugh at some moments and gasp in astonishment at other moments. It is slightly OOC.
A Secret Thought by Elisha Hermione has a deadly secret. She hides if from the world. Everyone believes there is nothing wrong, except for Malfoy. He's the one boy she despises, the only one who seems to notice, and the one boy she is forced to share Common Rooms with. Why won't he leave her alone? The question she should be asking is why she doesnt want him to leave her alone. She can't like him! He's DRACO MALFOY! But... is that excuse enough anymore? Absolutely beautifully written piece that totally captivated me from the word go. I heard of this through a fanvid made by Juliiaxx on youtube as she based the video on a quote from the fic. It captures everyone's humanity beautifully and is truely astounding.
A Wonderful Caricature of Intimacy by Countess of Abe Draco loves his son more than anything in the world. So, when his ex-wife plans to take his son away, Draco asks the most unlikely person for help. Hermione must decide whether changing her entire life is worth helping the man she hates unconditionally. This story kept coming up on people's favourites so I decided to see what the fuss was about. I'm so glad I did. The characters are incredibly well portrayed and you will no doubt be crying in this fiction. I always think if a story can make you cry then it's well written.
Have You Ever by Lady Moonglow With the war looking bleak, the Golden Trio, Ginny, Draco, and Lavender go back to Tom Riddle's 7th Year to destroy Lord Voldemort once and for all. What Hermione DIDN'T count on, however, is a shared common room, a curse, and a little thing called love. If you haven't read this and you are a Tom/Hermione shipper then where the hell have you been. This is the ultimate Tom/Hermione fiction and won't leave any of you dissapointed. The characters are great and beleivable. There are moments that make sense in the canon of the time it was written (between books 6 and 7) and will satisfy anyone's thirst - I reccomend this fiction whether you have read a Tom/Hermione fiction or not - this is one of my all time favourite reads.
Disaster's Sweet Seduction by RainynDawn They were on the brink of losing everything. She uncovered a Horcrux but at a high price. Now she's in a place where hope first began to dwindle and ends up in a fight against disaster's sweet seduction in the form of Tom Riddle. I love this fiction and the end is truely unexpected - wonderfully written and not cliche in the slightest.
Riddle's Phantom by Kalia Clyde Paralyzed, alone, & without certainty that she'll ever get back, Hermione is thrust into the 40's. There she meets a mysterious young man with a dark past & an even darker future, & what could make things more fun than a school play in the mix. A well written - if slightly light hearted - fiction that has a beautiful storyline. The ending is slightly disappointing but well done all the same.
Kismet Trilogy by RainynDawn: Changing Yesterday, Memories of a Dream and Whispers of Tomorrow Part I: Verus Fatum: True Destiny. Hermione must face her true destiny when in the wake of war a mysterious object pulls her through time. There she must sacrifice all to save those she loves most. Part II: At the age of 11, Hermione Granger discovers that she is a witch and heads off to Hogwarts to start an adventure with Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. But will she find more than she bargained for? Part III: Hermione slowly regains her memories and with that rekindles a love as the war grows steadily closer. Will the love survive? Will they survive? This trilogy is an absolutly essential read if you are a Sirius/Hermione shipper. It's absolutly amazingly written and totally beleiveable. The ideas are totally unique and should be appreciated for that reason.
Bed of Roses by moonyNZ During a Death Eater attack Hermione is sent back in time where the Marauders and Lily befriend her. Haunted by her past Hermione must learn to live in the other time. A well written and easy read. I have yet to read the sequal but if it's as good as this one then I can't wait to get stuck in. It has a bit of friendship Draco too for all of those who love Draco fanon.
Chronicles by Josephinee Rose Weasley had always considered Scorpius Malfoy one of the most annoying people she'd ever had the misfortune of meeting. This year, however, deep down, she realises... he's even worse. Josephinee's writing style is truly wonderful and totally believable. Written from Rose's POV this story shows how confusing young love can be. This fic is guarunteed to make you laugh!
Paramnesia by Josphinee This had to be déjà vu. And not the fun kind either. This is an amazing follow-up to Chronicles and shows the fragility of a relationship and the people in it. It shows that sometimes we make mistakes and other times it's all a misunderstanding. It's well written, funny and engaging. A beautiful read.
Our Little Secret by Kerichi It was like a wizard tale. The clever Slytherin helps a hag who later repays the debt. Except that Rose Weasley wasn't a hag, and Scorpius didn't expect to call in the favour. A good little story with a dangerous Lucius and an understanding Draco.
Love Thy Neighbor by LadyRedRoka It certainly did not help that Scorpius Malfoy's parents announced divorce in the summer before his seventh year and was forced to move to a new town - but it was simply too much that their new neighbors just so happened to be family enemies. Scorpius's main problem is that the Weasleys's infuriating daughter has the prettiest red curls and most captivating blue eyes he possibly has ever seen... This had me sobbing like a baby at one point. I couldn't 'put it down' and, although my phone bill will now - undoubtedly - be through the roof it is totally worth the pleasure. It's a story that I feel I can relate to from Scorpius's point of view. Although the author is clearly American ergo can't spell Neighbour and Scorpius is rather OOC - you forgive it all because of the fantastic way it's written.
My Favourite One-Shots:
A Letter to Hermione by BooBack: By the time you recieve this letter, I will be either dead or far away from here. If I had a choice in this situation, please know that I would never do anything to hurt someone, especially you... A beautifully written fiction in the shape of a letter to Hermione explaining Draco's actions in HBP. There is a follow up story too and I totally reccomend that you read after this. This gives Draco an amazing sense of humanity without being too OOC.
ABCDMHG by From Spark to Flame: Learn the ABCs Draco and Hermione's way! Draco and Hermione attempt to write a book using quick-notes quills. An ABC book. And each of the words have something to do with their relationship. A funny little fic with spinoff one shots too - a lovely mood lifter.
All I Want by blue movies: Draco Malfoy mourns Hermione Granger the only way a spoiled rich kid knows how. Told from Narcissa Malfoy's POV. A truely moving piece of writing that will have you on the edge of tears.
Only the Cold by blue movies: While in Charms class, Vincent Crabbe muses about Draco Malfoy's feelings for Hermione Granger. A refreshing look at a Draco/Hermione romance. I love the way blue movies has portrayed Crabbe in this too as I feel that there is some truth in her observation of the character.
Blindsided by secretdiary: MATURE. It's the last night of school, and Hermione Granger has something to prove. A funny and steamy affair on Hermione's last day of 6th year. There is a follow-up chaptered story just as good and just as funny.
Heartbreakingly Beautiful by InLoveWithDraco13: “You’re mine.” I held my breath, waiting to wake up, waiting for this nightmare to dissolve, but she slowly nodded her head, confirming that it was true." Ron has been too busy to realized he has been replaced. Until it is too late. This shows a malicious Draco realising something that Ron didn't. Real Ron bashing in this but really well done. MATURE THEMES.
