Author has written 4 stories for Mass Effect, and Supernatural.
UPDATE (19/7/2015): Hi again. This break was also unplanned and was also longer than I realised. Between university work and having surgery and my old laptop giving up (trying to get used to a new one is surprisingly strange), time got away from me but hopefully I can get some writing done again.
I have a lot of new ideas for stories and I'm going to work on those and my current stories. I am hoping to make some good progress with my Mass Effect stories over the next few weeks. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
I've also decided to temporarily put Worlds Collide on hold due to a mix of serious Writer's Block and not knowing where the story is going. I need some time to work through the block and figure out what should be happening next. I am also considering re-writing it for Season 5 instead.
Credit Where It's Due
The current pictures for Hope from the Darkness and Worlds Collide are screenshots of Sims I made in The Sims 4 specifically for this purpose. They show more or less what I had in mind for Tristan and Karis' appearances.
The current pictures of Sid and Shepard for my Ghost series are screenshots of custom Commander Shepards from the Mass Effect 2 Face Database, now renamed to Faces of Gaming.
Ghost from the Past: Complete
Ghost of the Present: Once a month (minimum)
Hope from the Darkness: Once a month (minimum)
Worlds Collide: Mondays (ON HOLD)
For the time being, Worlds Collide will be my main focus and I will try very hard to keep to the schedule of updating on Mondays. When possible, I will also be working on updates for my Mass Effect stories but I can't say when they will be ready. I may work on one fic more than the others and then swap. I can't guarantee when I'll update, only that I will update. My fics will be finished, I just don't know when.
The reason why my stories are rated T is because I tend to watch a lot of violent movies and I do watch a lot of programs that feature dead people (perhaps too much) and a lot of crime-related TV series, not to mention I'm studying Criminology so my idea of bad violence is REALLY bad while my version of mild violence might be worse than what others expect. Also, there's mild language. I don't generally use bad language in real life - unless appropriate. There is nothing explicit or words that are generally frowned upon. As for sex, I do not go into detail, mostly because I would really suck at writing it and also because I am not comfortable with it. I leave it up to the readers to fill in the blanks.
Basically, there is nothing worse than what's already in the Mass Effect games or that you would see in an average episode of Supernatural.
Published Story Information
Ghost from the Past: Part 1 is already complete and follows the storyline of Mass Effect. SPOILER WARNING for Mass Effect
Ghost of the Present: Part 2 has been started. At the moment, I don't have an ETA as to when it will be finished. SPOILER WARNING for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and all DLC for ME2.
Ghosts of the Future: Part 3 will be started once Part 2 is complete. SPOILER WARNING for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, including all the DLC for ME2 and ME3 (From Ashes, Leviathan, Citadel and Omega).
Pairings: F!Shepard x Kaidan Alenko and F!OC (i.e. Sid) x Joker
Hope from the Darkness:
This is a Mass Effect 3 story involving an Alliance Black Ops Agent (spy/saboteur/assassin/undercover agent/infiltrator all rolled into one) who is also a Biotic, Tristan Chase. She and Shepard grew up together and were partners in crime. Due to the nature of Tristan's work, they haven't seen each other in a few years but they meet up again just as the Reapers begin their attack on Earth.
Be advised that as this is a Mass Effect 3 fic, there will be spoilers for all the games in the series and all the DLC in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3.
Tristan's training: she was trained by the Alliance in many areas. In terms of marksmanship and fighting, she has military training. She works for the Alliance - eliminating key targets that soldiers can't reach, gathering information, sabotaging enemies, etc. - but she is not an Alliance soldier. Black Ops is a separate agency but it has military backing and links (kinda like the CIA).
Pairings: F!Shepard x Kaidan Alenko; F!OC (i.e. Tristan) x James Vega
Side note about Tristan Chase and Sydney Shepard:
I know my descriptions are not the best. Even so, if you want a better idea of what I have in mind for Tristan and Sid's hardsuits and even the way they move, think along the lines of the Cerberus Nemesis or Phantom as well as the multi-player classes N7 Fury Adept for Tristan and the N7 Shadow Infiltrator for Sid.
While not my first attempt at a Supernatural fic, it is the first one I've published. I'm very grateful and surprised by the positive response to it. This story will also be trying to avoid anything that has already been seen in the series (except for angels, demons and ghosts) and will be focusing more on mythology. It may push the bounds of what some fans may view as acceptable so not everyone will enjoy it. I will also be borrowing some ideas or elements from the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan.
