Author has written 9 stories for Morning Gift, Eva Ibbotson, and Harry Potter.
Sarcasm, blunt honesty, and drinking coffee - that's what I do best.
There are plenty of stories - mostly, but not all, fanfictions (fiction press http://www.fictionpress.com/u/720837/Kat253ox) - dancing around in my mind, waiting to be written down and uploaded onto here. Unfortunately, school seems to think it's a good idea to give me more homework than necessary; too much for me to have time to waste on frivilous things such as a social life, and sleeping and eating, let alone writing. Quel dommage. But then again, what more could you expect, considering I'm now in upper sixth form, and in the middle of applying to university.
The authors whom I worship:
Phillip Pullman. For his beautiful writing style, his wonderful descriptions, and his genius creativity.
J.K. Rowling. For the wondeful thing that she did when she brought the world of Harry Potter into being.
Eva Ibbotson. For the style of her writing.
The things that I love:
Sarcasm. Whether or not it is the lowest form of wit, I am in awe of (and eternal debt to) the person who uttered the first sarcastic comment.
Paris. I love that city. Everything about it. The food, the wine, the beauty, the language, the way of life, the literature, the coffee. Quite literally everything.
Coffee. I couldn't live without coffee. Genuinely couldn't.
Reading. Especially the authors listed above. But also fanfictions (right now, my favourite fanfiction author has got to be Wilhelmina Willoughby - go and check out her Harry Potter fanfictions. Seriously. Do it. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1473497/Wilhelmina_Willoughbyis the link. (P.S. Wilhemina Willoughby, if you ever read this, I hope you don't mind my having mentioned you.))
Proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. So, for goodness's sake, if you find any errors in my work, please point them out, because I'm obsessive compulsive about things like that.
Nice notebooks. I am in dire need of a nice notebook in which I can write my stories - typing them straight up onto the computer just isn't the same as writing them out onto paper, and my last one has run out of pages.
Photos. I don't take them especially well, but photos are memories, and memories are everything to me. I also enjoy amazing photography - check out http://rockv60.deviantart.com/ for some incredible examples. No, they aren't my pictures, but they're a friend's, and I'm so completely in awe of him that I couldn't resist posting a link on here. (P.S. Alex, if you ever read this, I hope you don't mind my having put this link on here. Couldn't resist :))
TLAs. That's Three Letter Accronyms. Which means that TLA is a TLA. How cool is that? Anyway, these amuse me greatly, as do bets concerning them. (Bring on the fiver, Alex.)
The fanfictions that made it out of my mind, and onto paper (or the computer screen...):
The Second Attempt
The (Completely Honest) Diary of a Liar
The Colour Green
Nine Long Years
Time in a Bottle
That list is growing, slowly but surely. But still, more is coming, I promise. Mostly drabble, fluff and one-shots (or a combination of the three), but there's a lot of stuff on the verge of being written down, just as soon as everything at school calms down a little. Pfft, wishful thinking. But honestly, I will try.
If you've taken the time to read all of this, then I'm very impressed and more than a little flattered, so thanks. If you've read all of this and haven't read and reviewed my stories, then shame on you. But thanks for reading this anyway.
