Author has written 3 stories for Half-Life, and EVE Online.
IMPORTANT BOLD/CAPS TEXT!
I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK AFTER MANY YEARS. AS I SAID IN A REVIEW TO HALF LIFE REBORN, I HAVE MOVED ON FROM FANFICTION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN MY INFANCY, AND LOOK FOR MY WORK ELSEWHERE! I'LL ALWAYS BE KILLERBLONDE!
A QUICK NOTE
Getting reviews on my stories is something I desperately crave, like a youtuber wanting subscribers. It only takes a second to review, and I know I have a much larger audience than are actually reviewing, (story traffic option, i get a few hundred hits a month.) So please, PLEASE review! Give me some critisism! The more reviews I get, the better my fanfics will be!
Welcome to Killerblonde's page! Here you will find information about my stories, and other things. I will try to keep it updated!
A MORE IMPORTANT NOTE
Okay, I have been accepted into a boarding school, so my stories will become a lot less updated. Nevertheless, I WILL still be working on them in my spare time!
THE MOST IMPORTANT NOTE
I have no free time. Period. When I do, I have no passion to write anymore. Maybe in ten years when I have a job I'll have free time again, but just as a warning: MY STORIES MIGHT NEVER BE WRITTEN. I'm sorry; I don't want it to end like this, but I can't do very much about it. Half Life Reborn will probably be my life's greatest work.
EDIT: Still here, still have 0 free time and 0 passion to do much anymore. I am going to take down Blind Jump for now, but I will put it back up if I do more work on it.
Rebel is finished! Please review it!
Rebel II will probably never be written. PM me if you really want to see something done with it, but if not, I'll just drop it. (I can also give some one permission to continue it for me.)
Half Life Reborn is FINALLY FINISHED! Please review! I also slightly updated the last chapter, (untied a couple of tied strings,) to make room for a companion story...
With Half Life Reborn coming to an end, I feel like I will miss the universe I created. If there are any requests or ideas, (which I need,) for Half Life Reborn sub-fanfictions, please PM me! I'd love to write them!
Blind Jump, my new Homeworld fanfiction, has had its first chapter uploaded. Enjoy, and review!
I made a pole, and I'll keep it up there for as long as it needs to be. Vote please!
CURRENT HALF LIFE REBORN IDEAS:
-Continuation that starts right after Half Life Reborn ended (unlikely)
-Story describing Pierce's journy through the Citadel, along with stories about Ubel and Houghton (unlikely)
-Prequal describing the rise of the Luumaothicans in their universe (likely)
-Story about a seperate group of scientists escaping Black Mesa (likely)

Shizha: I liked the new protagonist, Lexine, because she's so fragile..she'll
Killerblonde: Who is your favorite character so far and why?
Shizha: Lexine, duh ;) But I'd like Adrian to be in this fic.
Killerblonde: One more thing. Is there anything about this story that you
Shizha: Yes, I liked how the new main character, Lexine, didn't go from
Killerblonde: Well, thank you for your time. Is there anything else you
Shizha: Of course. Half-Life section of fanfiction doesn't get enough
If you would like to be part in an interview of any of my stories, (I need someone for Rebel,) please feel free to ask me. If you would like to discuss Half Life Reborn, please do so at the URL listed above and somewhere below. Also, if anyone would like to interview me about any of my stories, feel free to ask!
I do not own any of the games/books/movies/etc I write about, unless otherwise stated. I write merely for entertainment and practice, and the entertainment of others.
FULL STORY SUMMARIES
Because of the Fanfiction.net's story summary limit, I will include full summaries here. (May contain slight spoilers.)
Before Gordon got to White Forest, they still had to fight off the combine. It also held many residents that Gordon would later meet here and there. Their stories intertwine, and they help eachother protect White Forest and Magnusson's rocket. We will also look in to more mysterious characters, such as the gman...
Rated: T Violence/Blood
After the fall of the citadel, the stories of Griggs and Sheckly continue as the embark on another quest to help fight the combine. More questions about Dr. Rickit will surface, and gman will be obvious in some ways, but more and more shady in others. Working together, they will fight both the combine, and the mysterious man who seems to control everything.
Rated: T Violence/Blood
Half Life Reborn
At the Black Mesa research facility, deep within test chamber C-33/a, a different scientist preforms the test resulting in a dimmentional rift. The 'results' are drastically changed. Half Life Reborn is an experimental remake of the entire Half Life universe and story. There will be new enemies, new allies, and introducing a whole new faction. The combine have a deadly new title, and are more powerful and destructive than ever. Can our new heroes defeat this threat, or will humanity fall under the foot of the mighty empire invading it?
Rated: T Intense Violence/Blood/Sexual References/Sparse Mild Language
Capsuleer is a short story written for the second annual EVE Online fiction contest. Not much to say here, just read it! :P
Blind Jump is a Homeworld fanfiction taking place a few years after Homeworld 2 ended. Kiith LiirHra has completed a pair of advanced exploration cruisers, the Aurora and the Borealis, which they send to a distant location for their maiden voyage. However, when the Aurora gets sucked into a black hole, their only option is to blind jump; enter hyperspace without exit coordinates. They then find themselves deep in unknown space, with only their ship and themselves to fend off enemies both new and old. Will they ever be able to make it back to known space intact? And if they do, what will they bring with them?
Mass Effect Reborn (name subject to change)
Remake of Mass Effect story, similar to HLR
Portal: Ascension (not sure on name yet)
A dark ending to the portal saga, taking place after Chell escapes aperture. (Rebelling against the unrealistic humor and joy of portal 2, and going back to the cold, darkness of portal 1.)
I am in to a variety of games; like the Half Life games (including Portal!), mods for Half Life, the Homeworld games, Shadowgrounds (that had a terrible ending,) Fallout, Crysis (crysis 2 doesn't look any good), Dead Space, Mass Effect, Just Cause, and of course, EVE Online. I also like Nexus, which HAS HAD IT'S SEQUEL ANNOUNCED!!!
Some books I like are the Artemis Fowl series, (haven't read them in awhile, but I liked them when I was younger,) The Hunger Games, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the whole series), and pleanty of fanfics on this site and off. I also like books like The Prince and Nonzero.
I have a LOT of movies I like. Below is a list of the genre and favorite movie in that catagory.
Dr. Strangelove, Airplane, and Hot Shots are a few. I like sohpisticated, but also stupid comody over sexual comedy most of the time.
Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog (also comedic in some parts - one of the best musicals I've ever seen. look it up)
FAVORITE SCI FI MOVIE:
Star Wars, Total Recall, Starship Troopers, Sunshine, and 2001: A Space Odyssey to name a few
FAVORITE REVENGE MOVIE:
Kill Bill, no contest
FAVORITE ACTION MOVIE:
V for Vendetta, Sin City
FAVORITE GANGSTER MOVIE:
Good Fellas, Pulp Fiction (also action/comedyish)
FAVORITE CREATIVE MOVIE:
Being John Malkovich (you've never seen anything like it before, believe me)
FAVORITE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER MOVIE:
Silence of the Lambs, also Sunshine to an extent
FAVORITE THRILLER MOVIE:
Saw (it's a touching story about an old, dying man trying to help other people in his last years of life!)
FAVORITE HORROR MOVIE:
meh, I don't watch horror that much... um... lets say Saw again, even though its not that scary. Also Dead Alive, (you can't take it seriously if you tried.)
FAVORITE FANTASY MOVIE:
Pan's Labrynth (one of my all time favorites; it being in Spanish doesn't effect the 100% rating I gave it at all)
FAVORITE NONFICTION MOVIE:
300 (okay, maybe it was dramalized a little bit, but it's still a true story)
The Butterfly Effect (the controversial ending on the DVD version, NOT the theater version) - great movie, but you might be disturbed by the DVD ending
FAVORITE TV SHOW:
Battlestar Galactica, no contest. I've never gotten around to watching Stargate, but I'm sure that's fantastic as well.
Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog (already above, I know. It's still superb)
Rebel is my second fanfic I have ever written. I have plans for many more.
Rebel II is dead. PM me if you really want to see something done with it. (I can also give some one permission to write it for me while I move on to other things.)
Half Life Reborn is going to be the my third on this website, but my first EPIC fanfic. One of only a handful of 100k Half Life fanfics.
Blind Jump will be my 5th story here, (4th now that Rebel II is gone.) It will be somewhere between the lengths of Rebel and Half Life Reborn.
Capsuleer is a short story written for the second annual EVE Online fiction contest.
Don't bother looking for my first fanfiction on this website. It isn't there for a GOOD REASON!
In the event you do find it elsewhere on the web, please do not bring it here somehow. I'd rather it rested in peace.
I also wrote a single story, long long ago. It sucked so bad I deleted it straight off my hard drive, but have a single copy on hard paper for a memory. If you somehow find it, don't read it for your own sake.
If I become a famous author some day, those old scripts WON'T be worth anything... believe me. (unless you're like a mother that would save a baby's first poop in a baggie)
HOW TO WRITE A STORY
Many people never attempt to write a story because they think they can't. I think this is untrue, and that everyone is capable of turning thoughts into words into a story. When writing, I suggest the following. First, before you even start, spend a lot of time thinking about the story. Use a piece of paper to roughly plan out every chapter and the personalities of every character. Secondly, play over scenes in your head over and over and over. In Rebel, I had the final battle scene planned out before I even wrote chapter 6. Thirdly, if you want to make your story longer, adding more events is the last thing you would want to do. Go back in a chapter and add detail. Describe things with more adjectives and adverbs. Another thing you can do is introduce a second main character. Without adding more events, you can tell the same story through another's eyes at the same time, thus almost doubling the leangth. In Half Life Reborn, my first chapter was under 2000 words when I finished. I went back and added details about the tram and the B. M. E. H. to make it top 4000 words, thus creating a more in depth story. You don't want to bore the reader, but you also don't want things to move too fast. Lastly, write what you want to write. At FanFiction.net, nobody makes any money off this, so writing just to please the public with a story that you hate is pointless. In fact, when I started Rebel, I had never intended it be on this website; I was writing for fun. Listening to other's reviews and advice, (such as mine,) is fine, but they aren't the author; you are.
