4th Year: Once again Harry is front and center for the Wizarding World's controversy. Bolstered by close friends and a surprising alliance & impugned by greasy bats and students, he reaches a breaking point. The timid, respectful knockaround is going to fight back using lessons ingrained in him by his upbringing with his "loving relatives". Dumbles/Ron bashing, slightly OOC Harry.

Harry is just this eleven-year-old trying to cope when Hagrid shows up. Daphne Greengrass is smart, plain, hardworking and a pureblood witch from a family of very modest means. Ron leaving them stranded on the hunt for the horcruxes wakes Harry and Hermione up to the fact that they cannot continue on as they have. They will have to think things through and not trust to luck or a destiny that may or may not turn out in their favour.

AU. Fudge doesn't try to ignore Voldemort's return at the end of the 4th Year. Instead, influenced by Malfoy, he tries to appease the Dark Lord. A sharp and sudden change that can have devastating effects. When a Harry Potter that didn't follow the path of the Epilogue finds himself suddenly thrown into 1970, he settles into a muggle pub to enjoy a nice drink and figure out what he should do with the situation.
