Motto: Reality sucks, that's why videogames were made.
Fallout Franchise: Something about an apocalyptic setting based on scavenging and the uncertainty of the future just gets the blood pumping. With every bullet and Stimpak meaning the difference between life and death, Fallout brings the horrors of the then, now, and dreaded future into a great franchise.
-Halo Franchise: The only FPS franchise I was great at. The story is pretty stock and the characters are pretty memorable, but the gameplay is way too fun.
-Pikmin Series: Years of gaming have groomed me to be a huge virtual kleptomaniac, and Pikmin's gameplay is centered around collecting everything around you. The formula for joy here is too perfect.
-Super Smash Series: Because who doesn't like watching Nintendo characters beating the shit out of each other for our amusement?
-Mario Kart Franchise: The only racing game series I like. Because there are items, Mario characters, and Rainbow Road music.
-Hearthstone: WoW itself gets boring and expensive too quickly. The card game based around it however is thought provoking and nerve wracking. Plus it's not nearly as expensive unless you are ultimate card collector extraordinaire.
-Almost every mainstream Mario game: Because Nintendo knows how to make jumping and running fun forever.
-Every mainstream Pokemon game: It's Pokemon. No more explanation needed.
