Author has written 2 stories for RWBY. (Poll Info to leave it less cluttered) Though RSoB was running on what was effectively an AU using Volume 3 as a base(including its own mythos, no plans of using the relics and focusing on the Maidens), V6's new lore of RWBY has potentially answered the question of what Salem is after and definitely answered what the Relics were for. This was the main reason for using an originally-created mythos: simply not knowing what the end of the story could look like in the first place. Therefore, if I wanted to go beyond V3 and in a very divergent way, I would need some plotline of my own to follow. That plotline, for now, is looking like it might be obsolete by the end of Volume 6... and that leaves a set of choices ahead of me. (No matter the choice, efforts will still be made to take from canon as much as possible if it fits. Equally so, once this choice is made, it's final. If anything even newer comes up in like, Volume 9, oh well.) |
