"The prime motive was the desire of a tale-teller to try his hand at a really long story that would hold the attention of readers, amuse them, delight them, and at times maybe excite them or deeply move them..." Foreword to the second edition of The Lord of the Rings, October 1966
"Seize the moments of happiness, love and be loved! That is the only reality in the world, all else is folly." Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace
Welcome to my page, dear Reader,
Have you ever imagined the imaginary moster running around inside your head chasing, catching and then putting your ideas in the right order? Well, nonetheless, it hasn't been a long time since he settled down in my own head as well. He's a sleepless and very faithful companion of mine and I'm very grateful to him for those countless hours we spent together writing and reading stories! :)
Before I'd hit my road I would like you to know that English is not my native language. I'm Russian and I live in Hungary but I've been learning English for ten years now and I find it very interesting.
That wonderful community is known to me for years now and, although, I myself wasn't a too active member (except for reading, favouriting and posting reviews of course) till now, currently I'm working on two stories of which I hope the first few chapters will be posted soon before I'll be lost in the chaos of the next year.
You might want to know that I'm very fond of History, Literature, languages... and therefore I always do a profound research concerning my stories which is, in my opinion, just as interesting as actually writing them. I like reading fanfictions that explores the inner feelings and emotions. There are plenty of admirable drabbles on my favourite stories list that I'd like to recommend You, they're indeed worth seeing. Also I adore longer well-written stories with a fascinating plot.
C. S. Lewis' and J.R.R. Tolkien's masterpieces inspire me a lot, therefore most of my tales are to be expected to take place either in Narnia and the countries surrounding her; Middle Earth or in the gloomy, rainy United Kingdom.
Also there is an author I'd like to mention whose site I often dwell on when I'm not making my little imaginary moster work. :)
Have a nice day!
