My profile, hmm...let's see...
Well I am in possession of an English degree, which, after earning, I have never really used beyond the realm of fanfiction and some (killer) grammatically enhanced email.
By day I toil as a store manager for a regional deparment store chain. By night--well, I work and sleep mostly, and occasionally work time in to eat most days. And if I'm having a particularly slow day, and a hyperactive muse (or a muse period), then I write fanfiction between the lulls.
I started posting fanfiction about five (?) years ago. Some of you have been faithfully waiting since 2005 for the completion of one story in the JAG fandom. I keep toying with finishing it. Don't worry, the fact that it's STILL unfinished after four some years haunts me to my very core. I have been collecting all the JAG DVDs as they have been issued, but other than the first and second seasons, I have yet to rewatch the episodes. I keep hoping for a rebirth in my JAG muse to help me finally finish it. And I want the ending to be really good, because those dedicated few of you that have been kind enough to send me encouragement, even after all this time, deserve a great resolution.
In all seriousness, I am a fanfic junkie, so thank God and the creators of this site for ever inventing it. I love Psych (James Roday!), Burn Notice, House, Pushing Daisies, (That show is 7 kinds of brilliant!) Battlestar Galactica, and I enjoy Monk, In Plain Sight (I love Marshall's character), Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, My Name is Earl, and honestly any comedy that just makes me laugh out loud.
I am not internet hip. I don't have my own webpage, unless you count my livejournal (does that count as a webpage?), and if you've been dedicated enough to check it out, let me apologize now. I update about once, oh...hmm...six months? Generally I let enough time go past where I have to dig out the HTML instructions on how do stupid, basic things, like make an LJ-cut.
What else? I'm 29, a former Illinoisan transplanted to the Buckeye state with a job promotion (see above) trying to adapt to the hillbilly culture in the portion of the state where I live. I came from a town of less than 2000, and we were still more urban than where I'm at now in a town 10 times that size.
It's still a nice town, though.
P.S. Have never written a profile before--can you tell?
