Author has written 6 stories for Sherlock Holmes, and Harry Potter.
I am a high school student who loves to continue fandoms in my own imagination. This can express itself in reading and writing fanfiction, hence the account here. As a high school student, I haven't an open schedule and my stories will not be updated as much as I would like. My muse is also quite variable. I apologize in advance for any long delays, which are bound to occur.
My favorite series now are varying, but those I actually write about are more limited. At the moment, I will probably stick to Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, and Star Trek. For the last, I must thank a lovely fellow fanfiction author, KCS, whose stories and overall adoration of Star Trek led me to check out the series. I am still ridiculously new to that one though, so discrepancies are expected. Recently, I went with my family to watch the Phantom of the Opera for the first time and I have been hooked. There may be some POTO fanfiction in the making, if I can get my muse to cooperate with me.
As a fanfiction reader/writer, I am rather picky. For the most part, I dislike most AU, especially if the characters are acting non-canon. There are certainly exceptions, but I'm a big stickler for following the original author's intents. One particular version of AUs that I dislike is the OC as a main character, especially when one of the characters falls in love with them (after they have loved someone else). Somehow, I feel like that betrays the entire plotline. On the other hand, alternate universes can be very good, which I have experience, so it's more of a judgement call. Another pet peeve I have is fanfiction based mainly on romance. Overall, romance is not a particular preference of mine, so there will be a lack of explicit or even suggestive mentions in my writing. Certainly, I do not intend on forcing my views upon anyone but I shall endeavor to avoid any. A particular subcatagory of romance I dislike is slash. I will not include any of that in particular.
As a result of watching Phantom of the Opera, as mentioned above, I have become more leniant on romance as a general topic. However, I will still endeavor to keep a moving plotline other than pure romance. When push comes to shove, I still prefer the closeness of friendship to romance.
