Name: None of your business! ...My name's Beth.
I am a Christian! If you have a problem with that, I am going to love and tolerate the crap out of you.
I'm obsessed with Pokémon. I love it so much I took the time in middle school to figure out how to do the "é" without bringing up the Character Map. I practically live my life about Pokémon. And God. Mostly God. But Pokémon is a close second. :D
I'm also a hopeless romantic, so my stories are bound to be fluffy and sweet and aww. If you have a problem with that, go away. Also, seek emotional counseling. :(
I'm also a college graduate (B.A. in English with minor in Art/Art History). If there's a piece of story art that isn't the same as my profile icon, I drew it (the profile icon is from a lovely Japanese fanartist).
Some of my favorite Pokémon are (not necessarily in any order):
Here's my obsessions (I have many more and I'll add them when I think of them):

I become obsessed with things easily...
I'm currently working on (or at least there are files sitting unfinished called):
Tame the Thunder: A sister fic to Catch the Wind. So what exactly was going on with Raikou during Catch the Wind? How will he adjust to being a Trainer's Pokémon? And why does this Arcanine seem to have a grudge against him?
Lessons from a Shinx: This will be another fic about my Explorers of Sky team, Sparx the Shinx and Ember the Vulpix. It's going to be sort of a series of vignettes from Ember's perspective throughout the game. Here's a short tidbit:
There was just something about you... you exuded the kind of aura I was looking for. A Pokémon that saw dangers, and did things according to the way they felt anyway. A Pokémon that would charge headlong into a battle that looked impossible. A Pokémon like... well, like the opposite of me.
When you nodded, a warm feeling rushed through me. Not that that's uncommon, being a Vulpix, but this was different. I felt like I could do anything. I wouldn't run away anymore. For the first time, I felt like I could be a part of something.
"Something within them shifted, and the two presences felt opposed in a way they had thought was impossible for them. After all, they were one. And how can one become any more than one?
I cannot allow such rash action, she said after a long, stretching silence.
I cannot allow such inaction, he returned, regretfully.
Then I suppose, she said slowly, and if she had had a voice it would have been unsteady, on this matter we are divided."
Please check out my stories and review! It really does make a difference to me. :)
