Author has written 1 story for Twilight.
Hi! Welcome to my little bit of fanfiction.net.
I'm a 28 year old stay-at-home mom with two beautiful children, a wonderful husband, and a cat (though annoying at times she does keep the rats away).
I heard about Twilight for the first time about a month before the movie came out (yes, I live in a hole). I thought it sounded stupid and wasn't really interested. However, one thing led to another and I got the first book from the library one week before the movie came out. Devoured it in less than 24 hours. Spent the next week reading the rest of the series. Since then I haven't been able to get enough of Twilight.
I liked Breaking Dawn. I did know something about the plot before I read it so it really wasn't a shock to me. The story really redeemed Jacob in my eyes. I wanted to slap him through much of Eclipse.
I like happy endings. I can read angsty sad endings every once in a while, but the story has to be really well written and I have to know it is going to be sad. If it is a surprise I just end up really depressed. That being said I do like angst in the stories I read. Too much fluff is sometimes just as bad as too much angst.
I don't like smut, lemons, limes or anything of that sort. I prefer the well-written, romantic stories that steer clear of that sort of stuff.
My story won second place in the Twilight Anniversary Challenge hosted by ebhg, Justine Lark and Gleena. I still can't believe it. Thanks to all of you that voted for me.is a link to the banner for my story.
Check out my favorites for more recommendations. Below are short blurbs about why I like some of these fics and authors.
The Cold War by Gleena - If you like post-Breaking Dawn stories that are not Jacob/Renessme centric then this story is for you. It is artfully told from multiple POV and stays convincingly in character. The events are completely believable based on what we learned in the Twilight canon. As an added bonus it contains a non-bitchy Tanya. If you felt sorry for Edward being the odd man out before Bella, think of what post-BD Tanya is like. Out of both clans she is the only one left without a mate. That has to earn some sympathy points. As an added bonus it is now complete and the sequel, Acts of Aggression, is now posted.
Ithaca is Gorges by giselle-lx - New Moon from Carlisle and Edward's POV. Starts with after they left Forks and alternates POVs for each chapter. A really insightful look into Carlisle and Edward's relationship with each other as well as with the rest of the family.
Guarding Edward by katmom - This is not just a retelling of Twilight with a role reversal. There is no high school (thank goodness) and the characters are older. Despite this they are in character as much as possible and I love the interactions between them. It is now complete except for a few epilogues.
Behind the Clouds by EchoesOfTwilight - Though this story is rated M, it has no lemons and very little language or violence so far. The Edward and Bella here are very much in character though they are both human (at least for the beginning). There relationship with each other is wonderful and sweet. I can't wait to see where the author takes them.
