Here are a few of my grammatical pet peeves:
Then is used as a time expression: "I will see you then." "Bella was just 16 then."
Than is used for comparisons: "Emmett is bigger than Rosalie." "I am older than you."
Lose is a verb that means to suffer the loss of, to miss. "Don't lose your mittens." "I am always losing my keys."
Loose is an adjective, the opposite of tight or contained. "The horses are running loose in the pasture." "I found myself at loose ends."
I have a ’completed’ stories community...everything else I’m too lazy to organize. Ha!
