I finished reading all 4 books in the Twilight series in January 2009 and I felt such a sense of loss that I soon started reading lots of Bella/Edward fanfic stories. I am not planning to write any stories of my own. I do sometimes have good ideas for a storyline, but I don't have the imagination to write the actual conversations.

When I joined here, I had the pen name "bkmode" (based on my real name), but I changed it to "RingTheBella" after seeing it as Bella's instant messenger name in the story "The Note That Started It All" by . and I do have permission to use the name. It's cute, don't you think?

my birthday: June 20, 1973. I share Edward's birthday, which I think is pretty nifty.

a humble request to the authors out there:
I know that authors don't like to tell what's going to happen in advance, and I understand why you don't want to give out the specific details... but if you decide to write a story that has a sad ending, could you at least put something in the story summary along the lines of "will not have HEA", it would be GREATLY appreciated. A happy ending -- to me that's a major part of why I read this stuff, to get lost in the fantasy that no matter what crap you go through, it will turn out OK in the end, know what I mean? No matter how well written a story is, if it has a sad ending, it just makes me feel like I've wasted my time. At least if I know at the beginning of the story that there is no HEA then I can prepare myself.

I have a community called "Clear As Mud" and I forget now why I thought that name was appropriate, but anyway it has stories in which either Bella or Edward is dealing with one of the following: deaf, blind, mute, in a wheelchair, life-threatening disease, amnesia, chronic insomnia, mental illness or eating disorder, occasionally an abuse/neglect story, but that will be rare.

I have another account here under the name RingTheBella2 so I could have another community, which is called "Heroes". It has stories in which either Bella or Edward have one of the following occupations: law enforcement, firefighter, paramedic, doctor, currently in (or recently out of) the military.
