Author has written 6 stories for Ninja Turtles.
Hello, my name is Rhoda, and I guess if you are seeing my profile then that means you've taken some interest in my stories. Or you pity me. Either one.
Hmm... Let's see...
I love cherry sours more than anything in the world besides of course Ninja Turtles and One Piece and Rurouni Kenshin and Fullmetal Alchemist and perhaps Skip Beat. This is a useless piece of information, but then again this entire profile is full of useless information! Mwhahaha!
I'm fascinated with snow and how when it touches the ground, it doesn't make a sound. I love how it smoothes out the ground and makes it almost seem perfect. Rain just makes me tired.
I have a cat who loves me (eh) and a dog who loves me. They, however, do not love each other.
I love to read and write so finding this site suddenly took away a good deal of my time. I started out wanting to be a beta reader, but I got carried away. Now I'm an author and a beta reader.
I don't have any particular favorite character in TMNT, but I relate the best to Donnie and Leo (I'm the responsible eldest of a numerous amount of trouble-loving siblings). I don't think TMNT would be anything without Raph, and Mikey... I don't think any of us can fully understand the complexity of his mind.
My favorite color is green, and the reason being actually has nothing to do with Ninja Turtles.
I admire anyyone who gives their heart and soul to their work and admire even more the people who have the courage or insanity to let others see it.
Beauty is whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears. -Edgar Allen Poe
Typical Day. A light fic that got away from me and turned into a crazy-long fic. Set in the 2K3 universe. They all could be different stories or chapters but they had a common theme so I put them together to form my view of a day in the life of a teenage mutant ninja turtle. If there is some OCness in the story, let me know by all means! I am just getting the hang of writing FanFiction and advice would be well recieved. A thank-you to all who read it and an even bigger thank you to all who review!
Desperation. First in a Series. My favorite of my stories. It is a redemption story. It is basically my view of the early days and how Master Splinter comes to think of his family being, well, his family. I took a cautious step into the first person point of view so I want to know if I did anything wrong. A winter story to kick off summer. Sounds oddly fitting to me...
Sorrow. Second in a Series. I had thought I was going to do different genres for each one in the series, but I was mistaken. After a failed attempt of writing action, I decided it's a series. They're supposed to be similar. It follows the same writing style, and it's first person view again. I love this writing style. I see myself using it in the future. I wrote Sorrow in three days, shocking myself. It follows one of the thoughts of one of the turtles in captivity. I sadly had a blast writing this. I wrote this as a birthday gift for candelight and WebMistressGina. Both of which give awesome support and both just happen to have back to back birthdays. Thank You!
Hate. It is being rewritten.
Fear. It is being rewritten.
A TMNT Christmas Carol. Just a Christmas story I thought up. I decided that I had to get something up and this came to mind. I almost didn't post it, but one of my ghost changed my mind. Although it is a Christmas story, it can be read any season. I was pretty vague on the whole Christmas theme and who doesn't want to celebrate Christmas all year?
Countdown. This fic is just a friendly challenge among friends. I am determined to prove that I can write 'short' chapters, and writing these little chapters is also very relaxing. There are ten family pair combinations between Master Splinter and the guys, so that's where the name Countdown comes from. I'm shooting for diversity, so I don't think anyone including myself knows what they are going to get. I planning to keep on writing past my ten chapter limit I set myself, so be prepared for some chapters in the future:)
100 Words. Just a small pet project I wrote while trying to come up with ideas. It turned into a challenge, and now it is done and available for anyone who would like to read it.
I don't really have much more to add right now. Summer is coming up, and so I expect to do a good deal more writing and reading and, of course, reviewing. I really do need to get better at that...
