Okay, before I go on ranting about myself in the very lengthy biography before... I really just want to thank you for visiting my page. I kind of tend to go over the top with thanking people, so I really, really, just have to get it off my chest: THANK YOU!
Hi. My name’s Halley, and I have a slight obsession with wearing long, black socks. I think that this has something to do with my infatuation with the 1950’s… or anything vintage. (Lace, Oxfords, and anything high waisted is absolutely adorable to me). That being said, I also love Polaroid cameras, typewriters, and record players. I think that listening to Taylor Swift on vinyl can make any night a fantastic night. I like - no, love - reading books. For Christmas this year, I got eight, and I’ve never been more excited about something before. Words are important to me, and I think that I’m the only sixteen year old who uses words like “presumptuous” and “infatuation” in a day-to-day conversation. I also really love to write stories. It’s been a hobby of mine for six years now.
I was born in April, so I’m an Aries (even if I don’t act like it all the time). I’ve been told many times that I am impulsive, and defensive, and protective… but I wouldn’t consider myself aggressive or mean. Ambitious might be a good word to describe myself.
If you want to talk to me, then I suggest not talking to me when I’m reading or writing. I’ll probably throw you one of my famous “death glares”. But you can talk to me any other time. I’ll probably be drinking a cup of hot tea and thinking about something. I’ll probably be wearing a sweater, too, because I am always cold. I'm known to go off an a tangent very easily. (If you couldn't tell from this excessive, geeky bio.) I'm really easy to talk to, but I'm also kind of shy. I'm not one to strike up a conversation with somone I don't know, but I think that people are genuinely nice, and always have something that they want to say.
I think that everyone deserves a happily ever after, even if it takes a while to get there. That may just be my hopeless romanticism kicking in, but, whether it is or not, that is my philosophy in life. And that you should always be good to people. That’s exactly what I’m trying to do - find my happily ever after by being good to people. In other words, I’m just writing my story.
Planning on publication for my story People Throw Rocks At Things That Shine. Still in the editing process. Follow me on twitter/tumblr if you'd like to stay updated. (Links below).
Please read my stories, and if you do, thank you for doing so! I'd actually really appreciate it if you did. Reviews all welcomed, as is critisim. Story ideas would be wonderful as well; I normally write about Twilight, but I'm up for a challenge with anything. I think I've mentioned this two times before, but I get asked a lot: I'm fifteen years old!
