Author has written 1 story for Inuyasha.
Okay,so here's the thing. I haven't updated in a very very long time and I feel like you all deserve an explanation.
About a year ago, last November, my mother passed away. It was very sudden and violent and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that it kind of broke me a little bit. All of a sudden I became one of the main providers for a family of four (and two dogs). One month later the city decided to kick out of the house we had been living in for over 12 years, my childhood home. We got lucky and found somewhere else to stay but still, a year later, it's just not home. I had to quit the job i loved at a place I worked at for almost 2 years because the money just wasn't there and found a shitty but slightly better paying one that I hate.
Threw all this, I kinda lost the will to write. It's harder than it's ever been to just write something down. It's like, with everything that happened, all the inspiration just kinda left me. It's coming back, slowly. I'm only just now really starting to write again a little bit at a time. I'm not looking for pity or sympathy. I just really want you all to know that i didn't abandon my story, it's just going to take a while to get back in the swing of things.
i never know what to put down for these things but lets give it a try shall we?
well, i love to write and i'm a new author to the site but i've been reading fanfiction since forever. i had all these stories bundling up in my head and i figured i might as well try to get them out while i still can. my dad once told me that at any given moment, what ever thought you might be having, somebody else on the other side of the globe or even just down the street, is having the exact same thought, word for word. my great grandfather invented the first ice despencer on his refrigerator; it was big and bulky, very primitive compared to today but, damn it, it was an ice dispenser! he never got the copy rights to it, or like, what ever those things are that says you invented something and it belongs to you, he never got them and so a few years later somebody else came out with the same thing just a little bit better and i'm just sitting there listenting to my my dad telling me this story thinking to myself, 'ya know, i could be bloody rich right now...'
my point is if you should happen to have a really good idea for a story don't wait. sooner or later someone less shy is gonna think up the same story and totally steal your fire.
the reason i finally decided to start writing down my fics was because one day i looking through some new fanfics and i came a cross a story that was eerily similar to a story i had been thinking of since i was, like, 12. basically, i read the first three of four chapters, got a little scared (and a little pissed), and instantly brought up my openoffice writer to get to work. i think it might have been the push i needed and i'm pretty happy about it now.
things about myself:
first and foremost, you all should know, i am lazy. i have more time then i know what to do with. unfortunately i was born with absolutely no will power. i'm worse then shikamaru and for those of you who watch naruto, you all know that's saying something. i'll go for weeks on end without writing a word and then suddenly have this burst of energy and start writing like mad crazy, end up finishing a chapter of 6000 words in five hours. it can be pretty cool sometimes... except for when the weeks turn into months and then i just get plain pissed at myself.
age: old enough to be writing this s*
family: i have four sisters and two brothers. i'm only related to three of them but i love them all like family.
political views: relatively liberal
religious views: none or does not apply or what have you. I just don't think about it.
i love yaoi and erotica. it's sooo much hotter then porn and much more romantic. i am certainly a sucker for romance. ;)
things about my stories:
1 - i like happy endings. plain and simple. i can't stand when a story has a sad ending, it makes me all kinds of upset so no matter what, all of my stories are going to have a happy outcome (i like that clich'e disney ending. say what you will but i am and always will be gayer then the dancing queen).
2 - while i do enjoy a good clich'e romantic ending i can't stand it when some people take it too far and make everybody under the sun gayer then life and randy as all hell. it makes no sense and i do not approve. At least put some efforst into making your story seem realistic for the universe you're writing for.
3 - i mentioned above that i love the fluffyness of a good story and i will always have a happy ending. true. don't go getting that confused with the story itself. i'm also a pretty big fan of the hurt/comfort catagory. you'll find that pretty much every story i write will almost always have some hardcore violence and some intense themes and situations. stay away if you disapprove.
favorite's - inuyasha, Harry potter, The last airbender, Junjou Romantica, naruto, yu yu hakusho, yu-gi-oh, DBZ
Fav pairings: Sess/inu, Sasu/Naru, Daco/harry, Zuko/aang,
i'm pretty sure the only fanficion i'm ever going to write is going to be inuyasha related, though i do have some original works on other sites like fictionpress.net. check it out if you feel like it.
i also have another account on a site called mediaminer.org. That's probably where i'm going to be posting all of my more explicit stories. the fictions on mediaminer are the same stories as on this site, they'll just be the unedited versions. i'm also thinking about starting an account on AFF.net. i'm always going to have the same name so no worries.
yeah, so, i don't really have anything else to say at the moment... later =)
