Author has written 2 stories for Twilight.
I created this account for the sole purpose of feeding my enthrallment with the Twilight Saga. I, like many, read “Midnight Sun” on Stephanie Meyer's website and was disappointed it was never finished. Little did I realize how incredible the writers are that write in this universe. In fact - they blow me away.
It is my belief that writing successfully in a very popular universe isn't easy because the characters are so well known. Some might say that this makes it easier, but I disagree. To capture the essence of the characters perfectly is the only way you can bring them to life, and I've been awed by the writers here; and at Twilighted; for they all have proven exceptional. Two early tales; the first being Transcendence written by TwilightMomofTwo and The Edge (in an alternate universe) by fembuck (Janine); sold me on the fact that writers could bring these characters to life. Transcendence is Eclipse with Edward's POV; but unfortunately TwilightMomofTwo wasn't able to finish it. I can only hope that some day she will; but I understand where things like this can't be helped. The Edge is a what if twist. The author proved her characters were spot on; successfully bringing them to life; and what had started out as a “guilty pleasure" turned into quite a journey.
I also write; but it's a slow process. My first tale is called The Bella and Edward Show. It's my attempt at allowing the reader a view of what it might have felt like to witness the developing relationship between Bella and Edward. I do this through my own character, Raymond Kulp, who happens to be in Edward and Bella's graduating class. I believe I stayed canon in this story and I challenge you to dispute it. My second tale is called Breaking Dawn, the Battle! This was a major undertaking; as I provide the reader with an alternate ending to the confrontation the Cullens had with the Volturi. I recapture the exact tempo and dialogue from Book 3 of Breaking Dawn; starting at the moment when Eleazar labelled Bella a shield. It's clearly a what if tale, answering the question; How would the Cullen fare if they had gone in with the intention of fighting versus Stephanie Meyer's diplomatic route. This tale is mostly told through Jasper, Kate and Garrett's POVs, although I provide the POVs of several others near the end; which include Carlisle, Alice, Edward and Bella.
I've started (and it stalls from time to time) a sequel to The Bella and Edward Show which I haven't yet titled. I bring back Raymond Kulp's character and his immediate family. The tale is very dark and the theme is not suitable for everyone. What happens, forces Ray to go back to Forks, Washington in hopes of contacting Edward and Bella Cullen. He knows that if he doesn't contact them; he could very well lose his oldest daughter.
