6/6/2014 I owe a tremendous apology to all the readers who have posted such kind/funny/meaningful/ego-boosting/heart warming messages in the last few years. I read them all and smiled, laughed, even cried over some. But I didn't reply. I got so overwhelmed as Never Sleep was ending and then after I took Something Stupid down when it was plagiarized, my laptop at the time crashed and I lost it all. I can honestly say I've grieved over it at times and I guess I just burned out for a while. At the same time, my husband and I moved our family moved across country for the second time in a year, I started a new career and my kids became teenagers. So, those are all my excuses. But I am sorry I didn't reach out to all of you who reached out to me.
And I miss writing just for the joy of writing, so I'm working on something new (!) and an outtake of Never Sleep for the Fandom4LLS. It will feature all the characters but focus on Jasper/Alice and their respective parents. It won't be all angst though, promise. There are some funny tie-ins with things from the story as a whole.
3/18/2009 Interesting facts about me? I share a birthday with Ho Chi Minh and Malcolm X. I'm Southern by birth, but was raised in so. California and now live in the Midwest.
Oh, and when I was pregnant with my second child I had an intensely erotic dream about one of the Wiggles, but I'm not telling you which one!
I've always loved to write and fan fiction is a great outlet and way to get feedback and 'meet' other people who obsess over fictional characters. My first piece of fan fiction was a sequel to The Outsiders I wrote when I was twelve (and had never heard the term 'fan fiction'). I wish I still had it.
My favorite quote and motto: "There's a crack in everything; that is where the light gets in." Leonard Cohen
Thanks for reading my work and feeding my soul. Paige
