Hi, I'm Musik Drache also known as Jag. I apologize if you knew me for my stories. Most of them I still work on occasionally but I find it very hard to finish anything since I'm constantly full of ideas for new stories. I love to read fanfiction and have reviewed a lot of stories. My favorites list is full of completed stories that for some reason I really enjoyed. I've reread almost all of them several times. :) I am lover of OC stories but I also enjoy some canon/fanon pairings.
I like to read LOTR, Harry Potter, The Mummy, Covenant, Thor, Naruto, X-men, Prince of Persia, Sailor Moon, Peter Pan, and the list goes on and on.
A few of my favorites that I read over and over -
Heart of the Horselord by Rynogeny ~ "AU, Eomer OC. During the first year of his reign, Eomer discovers the hard won peace of the War of the Ring is not as complete as they'd hoped, and that there's nothing simple about being King. Particularly love. " A beautifully written OC/Eomer pairing. I seriously recommend this one. I've read it like twenty times. (Lord of the Rings)
Dance! by Naia ~ "AU Hogwarts is the most famous ballet school of Europe, and Hermione is proud to be part of its graduating class. But this year, the young prodigy Harry Potter, son of two ballet stars is coming to Hogwarts... This is a year everyone will remember." (Harry Potter)
The Madness of Princess Azula by Churnok ~ "Since her defeat on the night of the comet Azula has been under the care of the Fire Nation's greatest mind healer. Now Zuko has come for his annual visit to talk with his sister's new personalities." (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
10 Things I Hate About Parry by Brophy ~ "A workshop in downtown Ipswich, home to a peculiar bunch of mechanics that she calls ‘family’. There's fun to be had at Helmer's, especially with an old admirer in the mix. rar!" (Covenant)
Vermillion by Murasaki Kaida ~ "ShinoTen AU. Tenten is the PA for one of the world's biggest rock bands. But is it the frontman she wants, or the lead guitarist who's catching her eye? AU, Crack, Rock Music abound. Also with KibaHina, ShikaIno, HidaTema, GaaSaku. " Probably the best 'band' story I've ever read. (Naruto)
All the Dementors of Azkaban by LifeWriter ~ "AU PoA: When Luna Lovegood is condemned to Azkaban prison for her part in opening the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter is the first to protest. Minister Fudge is reluctant to comply, but then again he never really had a choice in the first place. Oneshot." A very funny story that makes me laugh. (Harry Potter)
Amortentia by excentrykemuse ~ "AU HBP. Romilda Vane was as cunning as any Slytherin and when she decided she wanted something, she got it. What she didn’t factor into her scheme to gain the love of the Chosen One was that he might just be as much of a Slytherin as she was.HP/Romilda." The only story I've ever read that was a Romilda/Harry pairing. Certainly an unusual pairing but a enjoyable story. (Harry Potter)
Hidden Symbols by cyberpen ~ "Talli secretly likes the band New Moon, but not in the obsessive way like some fans. So when her best friend begs her to go meet Paul, one of the singers, what happens when he imprints...and not on her best friend that adores the ground he walks on." (Twilight)
Heart of Electrum by JennMel ~ "One son with a heart of gold, one son with a heart of silver, and then a third son...the adopted son with a heart to forge the link between two brothers, the bond which would one day become the heart of Persian rule." (Prince of Persia)
The Way of the Wind by 'just enough' ~ "ANBU Captain Uchiha Itachi had things well planned out, until a medic-nin with ridiculous hair went and made herself interesting. Sakura insisted she was just doing her job, but Itachi didn't quite see it that way. Non-massacre. Sakura/Itachi." Probably the coolest and best written Itachi I've ever read. (Naruto)
Named for Loyalty by Lost-Remembrance ~ "Three times Dastan proved his loyalty and the one time that he didn't have to. It wasn't his fault his brothers seemed to attract assassination attempts. Pre-movie." (Prince of Persia)
Underestimated by Ink Scars ~ "Luna Lovegood is concerned. Very concerned. It's alright though because Luna has a plan and this time, for sure, it will make Harry laugh something he hasn't done since Stubby Boardman's death . Oh, yes... he will laugh." (Harry Potter)
To Stand with Brothers by Tidia ~ "Dastan wants to impress his new brothers and be accepted into his new family, but to what lengths and how does an act in the past effect a battle in the future."
A Tale of a Mother, a Boy, and a Princess by Rosa Cotton ~ "Wendy searches for Peter when he does not come home with the other boys. She finds him...with someone she did not expect, and wonders just how important she is to Peter." (Peter Pan)
"Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it." - C. S. Lewis
"Fairytales are more than true. Not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten." - G. K. Chesterton
“Writing is the only thing that, when I do it, I don't feel I should be doing something else.” - Gloria Steinem
"A definition is the enclosing a wilderness of idea within a wall of words." - Samuel Butler
"Maybe, for once, it's not about the happy ending. Maybe it's about the story." - Marin Mrowca
"We read to know that we are not alone." - C. S. Lewis
“The truth is always something that is told, not something that is known. If there were no speaking or writing, there would be no truth about anything. There would only be what is.” - Susuan Sontag
"Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite." - C. S. Lewis
“I want to draw something that means something to someone! You know. I want to draw blind faith, or a fading summer, or just a moment of clarity. It's like when you go and see a really great band live for the first time, you know, and nobody is saying it but everybody is thinking it. We have something to believe in again. I want to draw that feeling.” - One Tree Hill
"Here's what I'd like you to do for me: Make me laugh. Make me cry. Tell me my place in the world. Lift me out of my skin and place me in another. Show me places I have never visited and carry me to the ends of time and space. Give my demons names and help me to confront them. Demonstrate for me possibilities I've never thought of and present me with heroes who will give me courage and hope. Ease my sorrows and increase my joy. Teach me compassion. Entertain and enchant and enlighten me... Tell me a story." - Dennis O'Neil, from 'The DC Comics Guide to Writing Comics'
"There's something a quote does that nothing and no one else can ever do; it can become a part of you, you may never meet, or even know who wrote your life down in their own words, but that person is your companion. Quotes help you get over pain, feel loved, make you smile or even laugh, on those tough days. And to think you started thinking no one knew what you were going through." - Unknown
