Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries, Walking Dead, Glee, Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ, Spider-Man, Until Dawn, Lord of the Rings, and Teen Wolf.
Hey everybody! My name is Linda Ku. I'm currently getting ready to head off to college. Exciting? Yes, yes it is! I've been on this site for numerous years. I think I first started in middle school. I remember reading manga and looking at the characters and asking myself, what would it be like if they were in a different situation altogether? I asked a good of friend of mine at the time and they recommended this site. I've been here since :)
Writing is a part of me. It's something I do every single day, whether it is ideas about a new story or observations. It's become a part of my daily routine. I have several notebooks filled with my writings (this was before I decided to type them into a laptop). I still write my character profiles in the notebook. It seems a lot more intimate and makes me feel more connected to my characters. I probably sound like such a dork, but my characters become my best friends. I immerse myself in their story, what makes them who they are, that I often lose myself in them. Then the story is truly theirs. I am merely the scribe as they dictate what they want me to give to the masses.
Okay here's a big note for anyone actually reading my stories. I write incredibly SLOWLY! I mean it. I'm a very fickle person and ideas are constantly floating about in my brain that I sometimes lose track of where I am literarily. This becomes quite a problem when there are too many buns in the oven. Regardless, I'm not giving up on a single one of my stories. I may take some down for a while to rewrite them (cough that Naruto story), but they will be back. So don't worry your pretty little heads :)
Stories I'm currently working on:
The Watcher: may or may not have Legolas/Harry
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Posted 11 chapters/?
It's about The Watcher (Harry), a being that's been around from the beginning of time essentially. As the story continues, the readers will gain more of an understanding of The Watcher. This story will become fairly long and will encompass the entire 3 movies and something more.
It's a Mad World: Kol/OC
The Vampire Diaries
This story has a rather slow beginning but will indeed pick up
Posted 2 chapters/?
About the twin sister of Elena Gilbert. Yes, I understand that this has been done a billion times, but it's so very interesting. What makes her tick? Who is she without Elena? Who is Elena without her? And that's what I really want to figure out. What is it like to be Elena Gilbert's twin sister. What is like to be over shadowed by her, to be kept in the dark by the people around her. What is it like to be ignored, to be pushed off? And that's what it will be looking at.
It never goes away: no pairings

This story shows the struggle of one Kurt Elizabeth Hummel. It's not for the faint heart, nor is it really for those who don't want to cry. It deals with homophobia, abuse, and so many more things. Too much is going on with Kurt and because of the fact that he kept it all bottled up, it exploded, leaving him vulnerable and weak. This story is about pain, but it's also about family and friendship. Not gonna lie, I've cried so many times while writing it. It's emotionally exhausting, but ultimately rewarding. For those of you who read this, I want to thank you. I want to thank you for your words of encouragement, the stories that you send me that tell me what you connect with the most, just everything. You guys are lovely and I cannot stress this enough: I am here for you if you need to talk about anything. I mean it.
It's just business: Kurbastian
Posted 1 chapter/?
This is a Kurbastian story, since I've always wanted to write one. I have no idea what I'll do with it, but I'm excited to write it.
Flippancy: Peter Parker/oc
Posted 1 chapter/?
This is first and foremost a friendship story. I honestly believe that Peter Parker needs a friend, someone who doesn't ultimately want something. Someone who understands that he has a job, an obligation to save people. Someone who won't begrudge him for that. Someone who doesn't care about anything other than his well-being. And you get a bit of that with Aunt May, but she doesn't really know the truth. That's what I want my oc to be, someone that Peter can lean on. And if something happens along the way, then so be it.
The Walking Dead
Posted 1 chapter/?
This is the most interesting story premise I've ever actually had. I've always wanted to write about this type of setting (and I sort of am with my novel but I digress) and I finally sat down to get started. I'm almost finished with the second chapter-I just gotta fine tune it. This follows one oc as she eventually meets up with the group from Atlanta. This isn't an immediate connection with anyone or anything. The first rule in this world is survival, and my oc is nothing else but a survivor. Relationships and friendships come a lot later. And the real thing to take away from this story is the fact that no matter how gone to shit the world is, human beings will gravitate to one another. We're social beings, and we need that company. This is my oc's journey towards finding that community, that family.

Kuroko no Basuke
Posted 1 chapter/?
This story follows the journey of one Kuroko Testuya as he struggles with the fact that he both hates and loves basketball. It's his journey towards acceptance and the eventual love of this sport. I'm planning on making this story pretty long and heart wrenching so be on the lookout for that. I will say though that because of this journey that Kuroko has, certain things within the manga and my story will differ. Kuroko will meet certain people a lot earlier, and he will have more of a connection to them.
Stories on my mind that I honestly have no idea will be published.
Iron Man to Avengers to Iron Man 3; name: Sinner
no idea for pairings-will feature and OC
Her hands shook as she attempted to keep the memories at bay. Fingers caressed the semi-automatic she held in her hand. It stared at her, accusing her of taking the easy way out. Her breathing quickened, sobs escaping her body. The moonlight was hidden behind dense clouds, creating shadows everywhere. "I'm sorry Tony. I just wasn't strong enough." A gun shot rang through the night, followed by a body hitting the ground. The room was plunged into darkness.
Harry Potter/Iron Man/Avenger Crossover
Paring: MAYBE Harry/Tony (if not then none, they'd be BFFs though)
In this story, the final battle took place in the 1700's. The reason being I'm on an Immortal!Harry fix and I love exploring his more world weary side. He has seen a lot of things and as such he feels human interaction should never happen, because sooner or later, they will die. And 'sides, who doesn't love Harry and Tony's interaction?
Harry Potter/Naruto crossover
Pairing: I do not know
In this story, Harry will be transported into the Naruto world after the final battle. He will gravitate towards Naruto (this is before Naruto goes to the academy) and eventually raise him. He will be a large influence in Naruto's life. Harry will indeed be badass and will raise Naruto to be one as well. In my story, Naruto will be in no way an idiot, that actually annoyed the crap out of me.
Kuroku no basuke
Pairings: it might not have any, but if it does it'd be GOM/Kuroku
This would focus on a girl Kuroku Tetsuya. I get that it's been done before, but I want to focus on her relationship with the GOM. No it won't be taking place during their at Teiko, but it would have flash backs to that time. I am going to be frank here, if I do this, I am going to make Tetsuya a little bit more powerful. This being said, it will not be at the start. Rather I'm going to begin the story with the summer before she starts high school and she'll begin to grow from there. She would still go to Seiren, but I'm going to be frank, Kagami, while in the story, will not have a large presence in this story. The reason for this is because I don't like him and rather than focus on him, I'm going to focus on the GOM relationship to each other. So sorry for anyone that likes Kagami.
Harry Potter/Teen Wolf crossover
Pairing: Scott/Harry (bff relationship!)
I don't know! I just want one written haha! I'm completely ignoring the epilogue here. This would be set after the war, and Harry needed to get away. And he thought that Beacon Hills would be as far as he could get from The Wizarding World. For this story to work, I've moved up the Harry Potter Timeline. So that the end of the war could go in line with the third season finale of Teen Wolf. At this point Scott has not only known loss and is trying to move on from Allison's death, but he's a more stable leader. This is a pivotal moment in Teen Wolf and I really would rather Harry be placed there. I'm planning on making the war a lot more gruesome than it was-or rather I'm planning on capitalizing on the horror shown. Harry is in no way recovered and this will dive into his PTSD, his survivor's guilt. In my story, Harry is a lot more withdrawn than was shown in the books. He will appear different since the war changed him so much. But eventually Scott and Harry will be friends. This will not change. Harry will have someone who is quick to tell him that he doesn't have to fight. That it's alright if he sits this one out. And Scott will have someone help with the leadership business, someone who gets it. He will have someone to lean on when it all gets to be too much. Essentially, they'll help each other out and be awesome bros.
A LARGE NOTE ABOUT MY STORIES
I do not like certain characters in my stories. I'm not at all a fan of Elena. However I will attempt to write her in the best way that I can without bashing her (I've had to rewrite large sections of It's a Mad World because of this). I just think that she's a whiny little troll that needs to be run over several times. Is it really fair to her? Hell no, but every time I see her I want to throw someone. I'm not kidding. I watched the very first episode of TVD and was ready to just walk. My curiosity got the best of me and as the season progressed I got hooked. Bonnie and Caroline were the two reasons I stayed in the beginning and when Klaus came, he quickly caught my attention. And when the rest of his family came *fans herself* I almost had a conniption. I'm not kidding, my boyfriend was very concerned.
Another character that I am not a fan of is Agent Hill. I honestly do not know why she irks me so. She just does. My reaction to seeing her is not as extreme as my reaction to Elena. This being said, for all of you Agent Hill fans, do not expect her to have a large presence in my story.
I'm also not a fan of Stiles. At all. None. But I will try to do his character justice. Which means that his problematic behavior will be addressed. I'm going to give him a chance to grow and be a proper friend to Scott. This doesn't mean I'm going to bash his character unnecessarily. No I'm going to force him to see that the shit he pulls are problematic and I'm going to force him to overcome them instead of leaving them to fester. Character growth is my shit and I'm going to force this character to grow.
I'm not a fan of Sasuke, Sakura, and Hinata. My dislike for them grew as the story continued. I'm going to paraphrase my thoughts on each character, otherwise this will be too long.
Sasuke: Sasuke was always a whiny little prick. On some level, I can sympathize with his plight. He did see his parents get killed by the man that he idolized. I understand that an event like that will seriously fudge a person up, but his attitude is completely and utterly annoying. He cannot strut (yes...I know he doesn't strut) about the village brooding, believing his problems are in any way better than anyone else. This is a mother ducking ninja village. Chances are, more than 20% of the ninja's in the village have lost their precious people. Chances are, more than 30% of them had family killed.
Another thing that annoys me to no end is the way he just runs to Orochimaru. Like are you kidding me? Yes I get that on some level the seal was messing him up, but are you telling me, he really thought a village, that freaking idolizes him, wouldn't train him? It's nobody's fault you're not on Itachi's level. The man was a freaking genius! Of course you're not going to be on his level!
Sakura: Now I don't like Sakura, but I also don't hate her. To me, she's just an annoyance. In the beginning, her character was downright unbearable. Here she is flaunting how much better she is than Naruto, when in reality, she is the least helpful on missions. And then, when Sasuke gets kidnapped, she turns to Naruto and expects the guy to go running after Sasuke because she asked. Like heifer please! And yes, yes I get that she eventually grows out of her dependency on others, and grows stronger. But in all honesty, shouldn't she, on some level, understand that Sasuke isn't going to come back for HER? Is she blind to the connection shared between Naruto and Sasuke? For all I know, Sasuke will come back and pork Naruto. Like honey get over yourself.
Hinata: Hinata is so annoying. She's a creepier version of Sakura in my honest opinion. She's so quiet and stalks Naruto and hopes that, even though they haven't even talked enough to be friends, the two would become a couple? And what the hell was that bull crap thing that Kishimoto put into the manga where Hinata would be impaled by Pain and Naruto loses his shit and gets eight tails. I get that Naruto would react that way for anyone, but really Kishimoto? Hinata? She hasn't even talked to him enough to truly love him! She loves the freaking IDEA of Naruto, take the flimsy thing and go back to the drawing board.
Regardless of my hate towards them, I will indeed try to write them in character. My Naruto story is being taken down for this reason. I realized I had needlessly bashed them and am working hard to correct it.
I actually like Moira. She doesn't exactly think things through (shooting bullets at Erik...really Moira? Really?) and that adds to her character. From the beginning the audience was able to connect with her. Because of this she will have a bigger presence in my x-men story. No her and Charles will not like-like each other in my story, but I find her perspective very interesting. She is the sole human being in their mutant group. It's an amazing opportunity and I just love the fact that she stays Agent MacTaggert until Charles is in danger. It's quite adorable really.
So there is my profile!!!
