![]() Author has written 5 stories for Phantom of the Opera. I have officially caved. After reading stories here for years, I have finally embraced writing my own stories. Phantom of the Opera is one of my great loves, and while I despise Raoul with a passion, Christine did not. To that end, if I'm going to write Christine remotely within her character, I cannot bash him (though it does pain me to write her lamenting his loss). Twilight is no friend of mine, but I do love some of the writers on this site and their obliteration of the characters into ones I love. Harry Potter? An interesting read. A better read? An excellently written Snape story. First comes Fanfiction, next comes self-publishing! So here's a rundown of my books now available, either here on the site or for purchase (or you can visit my author's page, located here). Destruction of Obsession was my first attempt at writing and in my opinion is truest to the original novel. The first chapter and the Appendixes have remained in place and I hope you continue to enjoy them! While it was incredibly painful to pull it from the site, I felt that it was time to broaden my horizons. Thank you all so much for your support over the past few years and I hope you will look into owning a copy for yourselves. It is available for purchase both in paperback and digital forms through Amazon, as well as physical copies through Barnes & Nobles. (For anyone who is not aware, owning a Kindle is not necessary for downloading a digital copy, you simply have to have a free Kindle app for your computer, tablets, etc.) These copies should be available internationally but if ever you have trouble acquiring one for this reason please feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do. A Rose in Winter remains one of my favourite stories, and I have loved receiving all of your feedback! It has remained here in full but is also available for purchase should you want to have a copy of your own... one riddled with far less typos! A Nymph Without Mercy began as an original novel, but due to the lovely people I have met on this site, I tweaked the names so that you could still read it without having to purchase a copy. That being said, it is now available in its original form, tweaked and prettified for publishing. Additionally, a companion story The Making of a Lady is now available which details how Bonnie and Cyrus came to be a couple and the future leaders of a kingdom (paperback and digital copies can be found here). Lastly, my current project for this site is A Civic Duty, a definite branch away from my tendencies toward historical or fantasy novels. Long ago when I was writing my first story some people suggested I try my hand at a modern version of Phantom and a plot never materialised... until I was called into jury duty for the second time in three years. The prosecuting attourney issued me a challenge and now here we are! For those who have asked, it will most certainly be a romance (I mean really, just glance above and you'll see my commitment to Erik and Christine love stories) but I will warn ahead of time that there is a significant amount of trial involved, so please have patience! As always, I do not have a master plan, only vague ideas as to where the plot is headed, but I hope you'll join still join me as we find out together! Okay, one more lastly. I love reviews. I love getting to know my readers and other authors on this site so always feel free to give your thoughts, whether or not they are really related to the current chapters. And special thanks have to go to my Beta, Honey Jenkins, and the ever popular (and rightly so!) pre-reader, FantomPhan33 for their editing eyes. |
