“Passion is the source of our finest moments: the joy of love, the clarity of hatred, and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we'd know some kind of peace, but we would be hollow: empty rooms, shuttered and dank. Without passion, we'd be truly dead.”
[FORMERLY D-SQUAREDSHIPPER] I am a HUGE fan of The Phantom of the Opera, especially the 2004 movie. I love it to bits with a fiery passion and (almost) all of my stories uploaded here will concern Phantom. BE WARNED: I can be a very slow writer at times. Regardless, I finish ALL of my stories even if it looks like I've abandoned it! NO STORY LEFT BEHIND!
Although I knew about the existence of Phantom as a child, my first full experience with it was through the movie and therefore all the Eriks in my stories are based on Gerard Butler's adaptation. I may occasionally throw in a few references to the original novel by Gaston Leroux and Susan Kay's Phantom, but nothing big enough to throw off people who've never read the books.
I dislike Raoul BY CUSTOM only. I don't have anything against the guy, and refuse to spitefully kill him off or make him evil.
Published Phantom fics I've read include Phantom by Susan Kay, The Phantom Returns by Stefanie Cole, Letters to Erik by An Wallace, and Chanson de l'Ange: The Bleeding Rose by Paisley Swan Stewart. Feel free to recommend any that you know of!
