Author has written 5 stories for Mortal Instruments, Misc. Books, and Harry Potter.
Sex: Yes, I quite enjoy sex. Oh, wait, you mean gender. Female.
Eye colour: Hazel
Hair: Naturally copper coloured. Well, it's a mix of blonde, brown and red, so, copper.
Where I live: Canada.
Books: Well, I'm currently reading a couple books, which are Good Christian Bitches (a funny book, I like it) and The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat by Oliver Sacks, which is a book detailing some of his patient with neurological disorders. My favourite book is The Historian.
Movies: Oh, movies. How I love thee. It's so hard to chose favourite movies. For the comedy genre it would have to be Snatch, which is the funniest movie I've ever seen. I don't know what genre this would be, but No Country For Old Men is another favourite. So is Remains of the Day.
Family: Well. There's a lot of that. There's my mum, my dad, my step-dad, my taunties, my best-friend who is also my aunt who is younger than me, my grampy, my grammy and all the kitties. We have 2 siamese kitties (Almond Gui Ding and Mushu Pork) (yes, they are named after Chinese food) and a tabby (Miss Snuggle Bug, named because she is snuggly and likes to eat bugs). At my grampy's there's Lady Girl, Runty, and the 2 new kittens. At my aunt's mum's house there's Daisy, Patches, Asshole and Snowy. And then at grammy's there's Honey and Tiger. Our family loves cats (at one point grampy had over 30).
Music: Oh, how I love music. Well, my favourite bands are Stone Temple Pilots and Nightwish, and my favourite musical artists are Cole Porter and Glenn Gould. My favourite song of all time is Still Remains by Stone Temple Pilots and the song I'm listening to a lot lately, well, songs, are Anything Goes and Love For Sale, both by Cole Porter ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aeQ3DmKU7A and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll1Z-Z9anpU the second one is Ella Fitzgerald singing it, her version is the best).
Video games: I love video games. The ones I'm playing currently are Bioshock, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood & Amnesia: The Dark Descent. My favourite video game is the very first Legend of Zelda game, and that franchise is my favourite ever. I own them all.
Manga/Anime: I love manga and anime. My favourites are Saiyuki, Saiyuki: Reload, .Hack, Bleach, BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, Death Note & Kuroshitsuji.
Things I don't like: Wooo, this could go on for a long time, but I'll keep it short. I hate people, scallops, that time of the month, when my polar bear socks go missing, honey (makes my stomach hurt so badly I need a hospital...though agave nectar is good), LIFE cereal, etc.
My Fave Quotes:
"The purpose of art is not the momentary ejection of adrenaline, but rather the lifelong construction of a state of wonder and serenity."-Glenn Gould
"Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it."-Salvador Dali
"We should have an entire consel made of bears..."-Jenna Macleod, friend of mine
"As you can see the pink neon stack are WOEFULLY out of balance with the green neon stack, creating the illusion that more guests have been checking in than checking out, which of course, is a physical impossibility unless we have begun MURDERING THEM!"-Gilmore Girls.
"Elizabeth Swann: There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
"All children mythologize their birth. It is a universal trait. You want to know someone? Heart, mind and soul? Ask them to tell you about when he was born. What you get won't be the truth: it will be a story. And there is nothing more telling than a story."- Tales of Change and Desperation, Vida Winter (The Thirteenth Tale, Diane Setterfield)
"My gripe is not with lovers of the truth, but with truth herself. What succour, what consolation is there in truth, compared to a story? What good is truth, at midnight, in the dark, when the wind is roaring like a bear in the chimney? When the lightning strikes shadows on the bedroom wall and the rain taps at the window with its long fingernails? No. When fear and cold make a statue of you in your bed, don't expect hard-boned and fleshless truth to come running to your aid. What you need are the plump comforts of a story. The soothing, rocking safety of a lie."- Vida Winter, The Thirteenth Tale, Diane Setterfield
"Politeness. Now there's a poor man's virtue if ever there was one. What's so admirable about inoffensiveness, I should like to know? After all, it's easily achieved. One needs no particular talent to be polite. On the contrary, being nice is what's left when you've failed at everything else. People with ambition don't give a damn what other people think about them. I hardly suppose Wagner lost sleep worrying whether he'd hurt someone's feelings. But then he was a genius."- Vida Winter, The Thirteenth Tale, Diane Setterfield
