Author has written 2 stories for Someone Like You.
Something About Max: the final rewrite is finally finished. It was truly a long process of growing for me, something I think I needed to do, though I apologize for stringing you along throughout all the heartache and rewrites. Thanks to those that stuck with me. The next time you see this story, it will hopefully be in bookstores across America, and probably called Definition of a Heartbeat. Look for it in ten years.
I may write some one shots later, about the wedding / proposal or some other thing like that. If there's anything you want to read, please let me know! I've been itching to write again.
I have a thousand ideas bouncing around in my head, so we shall see which ones get turned into stories / one shots. Reinventing Heartbeats is sleeping for now, I don't know when it will come alive again. But keep talking to me, about anything and everything, I love hearing from everyone.
Something About Max (soon to be known as Definition of a Heartbeat) : In twelve months you can do a lot of things; complete a year of high school, enjoy a relaxing summer, go to band camp, drink over 200 slurpees, form a band, live or die. In eight months you can fall in love. Rewritten. (PS - If you wanted a theme song for Max: Sand in your Shoes by This Providence. Hayley's would have to be Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World.) ()
Reinventing Heartbeats (previously known as In The Absence of Doubt): Tory Snow's life is laid out as she loses her family, moves in with her off-beat relatives, and meets Josh Black, a transfer from the Academy who seems to be the "something better" she has been looking for.
