![]() Author has written 13 stories for Wallflower, Soul Eater, We Were There/僕等がいた, Fullmetal Alchemist, Misc. Tv Shows, Avatar: Last Airbender, Gurren Lagann, and Hotel Dusk: Room 215. Who is this mysterious nakanaka and why does she not update as often as I'd/she'd like?! Nakanaka is a Japanese grammar form that means either "very, readily, considerably, easily" with an affirmative verb, or "by no means, not easily" with a negative verb. That's kind of how my writing comes to me: either I find a computer or a pad and pen as soon as I can and it all spills out, or I have to gag myself with a spoon to force it out. Not unlike vomiting. I suppose I am a writing bulimic. This is probably not healthy or treatable, but what can I do? I usually write fanfiction when I am dissatisfied with a certain aspect of a story--the characterization, the ending, the plot. This is why I don't write fanfiction for series I enjoy most: the real thing is so satisfying, there is no need to read/write more. That also accounts for my irregular updates. Usually I enjoy what I play/watch/read. So consider my stories supplements to satisfy my own dissatisfaction with the original. However, I do enjoy the writing process and recognize that feedback is a critical part of this, so if you read any of my writing, and like it, or hate it, or don't feel too strongly one way or the other, please review! Thank you very much! |
