November 2013 - The Littlest Queen of Narnia - I am sorry guys for the long wait for the next chapter, I have not forgotten about this story and believe it or not I have been working on it constantly since the last update. I am at a point where I am having difficulty getting the story-plan straight in my head and I am trying to figure out just which way to take it. I know some of you are getting a little...moody waiting for the next chapter and for this I am sorry but I'm taking my time so I don't ruin it. Sorry again for the wait.
Original Fiction - Wattpad - If you fancy checking out any of my original fiction I will be posting it on Wattpad. Andydria is my username there.
OK so here's some info about me :)
I am ...no longer a teenager. Sad but true. But! I still have the chocolate addiction, but hey, I am a girl and I am alowed.
I am a hopeless romantic and i mean hopeless. If i can see a romantic twist in a story then i will.
Facts About Me
I am not a people person, sad but true. My family thinks i'm strange because i bury my head in a book and block out everything around me (Doesn't mean i'm antisocial people!!-they don't really acknowledge a difference).
I read the end of a book before i start at the beginning - i just don't see the point of reading a book if you aren't going to like how it ends.
I love period dramas, and because of this i was viewed as a bit of an odity at school. When everyone else was watching Pop Idol (or whatever) i was lost in the latest Dickens or Bronte adaptation.
I fell in love with Mr Rochester when i first read Jane Eyre when i was ten. Mr Darcy is alright i suppose but a bit to soft compared to Mr Rochester, and Heathcliff is just something else.
I found fanfiction by accident one day and well...here i am.
Where You Can Find Me
Favourite Films and Books
Labyrinth (the film) - how much better can you get, magic, songs, dancing, great dress - nope nothing beats it
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte - my favourite book of all time (they definitely don't make them like that any more hehe)
The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux - OK so it isn't really a totally soppy romantic book but it is good, i have read it so many times the spine has had to have a little DIY job to hold it together
The Phantom of the Opera (Musical film) - the only problem is the ending, come on people! Sure he's a bit unstable going around killing people left, right and centre but he loves her.
These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer - don't really know why i like this book since it was a bit of a task to read it the first time round but i have read it twice since, so hay who am i to question the inner workings of my mind.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney - no romance whatsoever but it is just so funny (a friend bought me it for me because she was fed up of me reading nothing but 'heavy' books - come on like Les Miserable is that bad cough cough)
The Little Mermaid (Disney) - unda' dah sea dum dum dum oops ok moving on - that film is just way to short
Beauty and the Beast (Disney) - kind of explains itself - hopeless romantic people! (anyone else think he looked better as the beast or is it just me?)
The Wee Free Men books by Terry Pratchett - they are so hilarious
The White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean - FAB. It's a bit wierd and the ending is a bit wishy woshy but the story is GREAT.
The Point of No Return - The Phantom of the Opera
Sirens/Sirens Reprise - Jane Eyre the Musical
Dance My Esmeralda - Notre Dame de Paris - It i so so sad but fabulous, this version works along the lines that she dies at the end but the songs are great!
Favourite Couples (how long have you got)
Daniel and Betty (Ugly Betty) - they are so cute and she is the only one who doesn't take any of his rubbish
Ronon and Jennifer (Stargate Atlantis) - honestly, who wants McKay when you can have him, it's just beyond all reason
Tracy and Link, Amber and Corny Collins (Hairspray) - once again, I'm a hopeless romantic - got bullied a bit at school because of my size aswell so it's nice to have the big girl come out on top and get the man she wants.
River and Mal (Serenity) - They belong together
Eric and Christine (The Phantom of the Opera (musical film)) - sorry, was there any competition to begin with? Raoul or Eric? (now thats a hard one) ahh it is so frustrating
Jareth and Sarah (Labyrinth) - sigh...sigh...sigh...
Logan and Marie aka Wolverine and Rogue (X-Men) - they would just make a cute couple, and lets face it who on earth would want Bobby when he is around.
Marian and Guy (BBC Robin Hood) - honestly once again no competition. Robin ewe! Guy mmmm.
Eric and OC (The Phantom of the Opera (musical film)) - well it has to be accepted that at times Christine just doesn't deserve him.
Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester (Jane Eyre) - they fit together perfectly.
My Favourite Quotes
Infinity means the sky has no lid on it - Last of the Summer Wine
Never trust a bunny - Hoodwinked
Now where is that monkey i want to shoot something - Pirates of the Caribbean
'Er...would you accept a wee bitty lie?' Rob said, 'No!', 'It's interestin'. There's dragons an' unicorns in it-' - Wintersmith
OK so here's the deal, the ideas sound great in my head, honestly they do, but they tend to get lost in transit, and don't sound as good on paper as they do in my mind. It's a work in progress, so hopefully I'll get better - we'll see.
All reviews will be more than welcome.
This will be a Christine and Erik story, based around the events from the musical but with different results and fewer bodies i think. I am not planning on being very kind to Raoul either. The story will be told from Christine and Erik's POV through different diary entries. I will never, never, ever, have Christine take of his mask. NEVER! EVER! EVER! That doesn't mean that i won't have someone else do the dirty deed though. Hmm maybe Raoul - i hate him anyway so one more sin on his part won't matter - i'll have to think about it. (hmmmmm...)
This idea just kinda popped into my head. Basically what if Sarah's mother had wished away her own brother but then made a deal with Jareth to give her own child for her brother. The Sarah in this story won't be the spoiled brat that she was in the film but will be a protective older sister. She will be fifteen when she runs the Labyrinth but then sixteen when she goes back-which i am planning on having her doing.
Sarah's wedding stuff
A Dream Made of Nightmare
ROGAN-need i say more:)
Ever since seeing the very first film when it came out my wee romatic heart wanted Logan and Marie to get together (come on the man nearly died for her for crying out loud). But ohh no, they had to go and push Jean and Bobby down our throats didn't they YUCK. Totally Wrong! So here is my take on what should have happened. So in this Logan stays longer and gets to know Marie who is suffering from both his nightmares and Magneto's. He admits to himself that he has feelings for her and it all goes from there.
