Poll: In the second chapter of 'In the name of Yuffie Kisaragi' I mention Vincent's demons Galian Beast, Death Gigas and Hell Masker. However, I don't really want them there, as they spoil Vincent's 'sins forgiven' thing. What should I do with them? Vote Now!
Author has written 3 stories for Final Fantasy VII.
25/04/2015 Estimate i've written about half of the next chapter of ITNOYK, which is wedding focussed. Going back to uni for exams tomorrow, so will have to focus on that, but hopefully an update will appear in the summer!
Welcome to my page! I have a couple of fanfics out although I have hundred of ideas. I tend to work slowly in sporadic, creative bursts, so I don't want to start things when I know updates for them will be few and far between. Plus I'm a uni student currently, so have lots going on!
I'm into lots of different books, movies and tv series, but I only write Final Fantasy VII fics that revolve around Yuffie and Vincent, as these are the only characters I truly, confidently and passionately write for. I'm on Tumblr as a-winters-child if you fancy checking my blog out, though all I really do is reblog fandom related stuff.
Pairings I read, (FF7) and will possibly write are...
Yuffie/Vincent (OTP forever and always!)
In The Name Of Yuffie Kisaragi
My first Yuffentine and in progress. Albeit slow progress. I love it, but i'm really not too happy about earlier chapters as I started this story in my young teens, so my writing and plot is pretty immature. And you can see my maturity improving throughout the story, which proves how much fanfiction has helped me improve my writing skills. I will probably rewrite those earlier chapters eventually but the new ones are more important at the moment! And now I have a clear idea of the story, and a more secure writing skills I am pretty proud of it. The rating probably needs to go up though! Forgive the slow updates, but don't give up on it entirely! I promise haven't!
Everyone Else Was
Just a really short little halfshot. YuffiexVincent of course. Well, If you want. It can be seen as Yuffie being Yuffie, but I like to think it as YuffiexVincent.
Seeing Is Believing
Currently a complete oneshot, which I posted because I wanedt to prove to myself I could post something- its been a while since i've updated ITNOYK as i've been working on another Yuffentine project, currently 3 out of 5 parts complete. This story does have a wider arc which I might return to one day (once i've completed at least one of the two things i'm writing at the moment!), but i'm happy with it as a one shot currently.
Please don't lose hope when I don't update- unless I've stated on my profile i've stopped. I love writing but at the same time get frustrated writing because I have it perfect in my head but translating it onto the page isn't as easy. Not to mention as soon as I sit down and write I seem to forget how to use words!
I read mostly Yuffentines and I used to favourite practically every fan fiction I liked so I could read them on a regular basis. I don't tend to do that so much any more, but try to review more because I know how much I appreciate getting reviews!
Some thoughts on writing...
The first thing you write on a blank page is always the hardest. Not in terms of actually writing, but the questions it makes you ask yourself: Where will it take you? What will the last thing you write be? How long will it take before you’ve written pages? What will be written on those pages? I certainly never know. Buts that’s part of the adventure of writing a story or poem. Once you start, whatever you do, where ever you go, things suddenly spring to mind, things that will be perfect to write, to add into that chapter, to make that character more real in the your mind. And so it is not just the writing part that is the important part. It isn’t just the writing part that makes a story, a diary, a poem or whatever other literature you're writing. It’s the things that strike you at the most random times, the things you store away in your mind, constantly reminding yourself of so as not to forget them for when you do write them down. Writing is just editing what you’ve already written in your mind. Sometimes it’s easy, because you’ve already given it a lot of thought as to how it is going to play out. Other times is not, and you have to expand on it, teasing out the details, weaving intricacy into it to bring it to the same standard as the more well thought out parts. Thats the part that is the most difficult. But it makes it all the more rewarding when you do. When you write stories, its often what you want to read, and when other people like it, then you start to write for them as well as yourself. You can be as creative and imaginative as you want, and it often proves to be a place you can escape to.
