Author has written 3 stories for Baldur's Gate.
I could ramble on forever if I let myself, but I shall endeavor to keep it brief! My justification for investing all this time (omg so much time xD) into the noble pursuit of fan-ficcing is to practice my writing and one day raise it to a publishable level, so I am supremely grateful for any and all feedback, positive and negative. I've already improved a great deal and have learned a lot as I've gone; I couldn't do it without you guys, so big thanks!!
I have a page on deviantART (artastrophe-dot-deviantart-dot-com) that has most of my non-professional art / fan-art / original characters. In fact, it's probably mostly the characters from my BG fic, which you can also find renditions of at the fabulous Kyn's deviantART (spydrouge-dot-deviantart-dot-com) :D
I also obsessively collect art and writing references (and um everything else) on Pinterest! (pinterest-dot-com-slash-artastrophe) So if you want to see inspiration for my story and imagery for some of the characters (or a ton of other random artsy/fantasy things)... o_O
Now that my Candlekeep prequel and Baldur's Gate: I story are complete, I have been working on the BG:II sequel! Some of you may perhaps remember the original iteration of this story which I posted in 2009 as "What was Taken," though (shh) I did not in fact know what I was doing with it back then. It may reassure you to know that is no longer the case, and the years between have allowed me to come up with all kinds of interesting things to fill in what were before shallow representations and no few glaring plot holes. xD So this has been a labor of love (some years more intensely than others), and I hope you will enjoy following along!
It is basically an excuse for me to play with my psychology knowledge/obsession and explore really complex relationships of damaged people over very long character arcs, haha. I am really drawn to complexity and layers and moral ambiguity... I hope it goes without saying that my characters' views/actions aren't necessarily supported or encouraged by me. xD
